DEAD RED HOOD is an upcoming game currently in development by Eeny, meeny, miny, moe? – it’s the 4th game in the BLACKSOULS series, and the 2nd game dedicated to the character Red Hood.
DEAD RED HOOD will be an eroge just like the previous titles, but it’ll not be an RPG – gameplay-wise it will focus on completing missions by doing stealth assassinations. The game will have a steampunk aesthetic.
DEAD RED HOOD doesn’t have a set release date yet.

Setting
DEAD RED HOOD takes place in Underground City Agartha (地底都市アガルタ). The discovery of the steam engine has allowed the country to develop incredibly fast but at the same time, there has also been a significant rise in the frequency of various deadly sins and sinners.
Red Hood’s task is to execute sinners in a stealth manner and by doing so she will have a chance for redemption. She works for the Black Trial which appeared for the first time in BLACKSOULS – it’s a feared organization that hunts down and executes sinners.
Gameplay
The game will be a mission-completion type stealth game where Red Hood as a member of the Black Trial has to safely execute her targets and then escape the area to clear the stage.
There are 8 stages in total.
The game isn’t supposed to be difficult, there’s a possibility of trophies being added for replayability value.
You will get a higher score if you complete the missions in a stealth way, without anyone noticing. The story isn’t supposed to change depending on the score.
There will be various ways in which you can assassinate others. The targets will have a fairy tale theme.
You can talk to all NPCs in the area, but you can also kill them too.
NPC Options
It will be possible to seduce NPCs, force them into prostitution, threaten them to obtain information or steal items, and even rape them. You can use any method to execute a criminal.
H Scene Info
You can turn off H scenes just like you can in other BLACKSOULS games.
There will be something called the “Rape Cancel System” which will allow you to press a button that summons Poro to rescue you when Red Hood is about to get raped. This is for if you make a choice unintentionally.
It’s possible to clear the game as a virgin, whether you want to see an H scene or not is the player’s choice.
NPC States
NPCs have certain states – Normal, Trust, Distrust, Hostile, Lust, Fear, Dying, Unconscious, Sleep, and Nihility.
<Normal> – This state indicates that the NPC is in a normal, or perhaps neutral, state.
<Trust> – This state indicates that the NPC trusts you.
<Distrust> – This state indicates that the NPC doesn’t trust you.
<Hostile> – This state indicates that the NPC is hostile, you can either fight back or escape.
<Lust> – This state indicates that the NPC lusts after you, the cruel ones will try to rape you.
<Fear> – This state indicates that the NPC is scared of you, this can happen if you threaten someone or talk to them while covered in blood.
<Dying> – This state indicates that the NPC is dying.
<Unconscious> – This state indicates that the NPC is unconscious, this happens if you don’t kill him but knock him unconscious.
<Sleep> – This state indicates that the NPC is sleeping.
<Nihility> – It’s not known what this state indicates, the description for it is “よぐっ” which means Yog (i.e. Yog-Sothoth), and he appears in BLACKSOULS II as Mabel. So this state may have to do something with him?

Living with Red Hood is supposedly a short ADV game where Red Hood and the protagonist of BLACKSOULS live together. This short game is supposed to come as an extra with DEAD RED HOOD – in this game, you can have as much fun as you want (a lot of sex) with Red Hood and there are no horror elements in it.
