Black Trial is a special group in the BLACKSOULS series dedicated to finding and punishing sinners. It’s a very strong group with strong members that will most likely get to you when you least expect to see them, but only if you sin of course.

The leader of the Black Trial is the Black Judge Baphomet – the 15th of the Great Arcana and the ruler of the Black Mass. You can find her by going through the Subterranean Land K’n-Yan area, whose entrance is in the Tainted Bog area.
You can do tasks for the Black Trial and get the Ending D in the first BLACKSOULS game.
Not a lot is known about the organization as it is quite mysterious, but if you want to make sure you never encounter them, don’t do evil deeds.
Hein reveals a lot of interesting information regarding the Black Trial. He talks about the “four executives” and proceeds to explain their behavior and position in the organization, and he also mentions that the Demonic Princesses are great business partners of the Black Trial.

In the second game, the Black Trial is missing almost all of its members. Baphomet is gone, Ezwald is most likely dead, Hein is working as a conductor, Miranda becomes Meryphillia, and Lindamea appears in the DLC3 part of the game.
Wonderland is full of atrocities, and the Black Trial is shattered.
