Black Condemner Miranda is a member of the Black Trial and a companion in the first BLACKSOULS game. She’s a feisty character who loves power and fighting others – Miranda is a great fighter and a faithful ally who will follow you throughout the series.

Miranda appears in one area under certain circumstances so it’s easy to miss her appearance in the first game.
Meeting Miranda
Miranda appears for the first time in the Tainted Bog if you have 5 sins or more. She will start chasing you just like Lindamea does and she will initiate a fight with you once she catches up to you.
Miranda is below the fog that leads you to the fight with the Lust Demon Satyr.
If you defeat Miranda she will remark that she lost, mentioning how the defeated obeys the winner, waiting for you to choose what to do with her. You can tell Miranda that you want her to be your companion, but you can also tell her that you want her as your sex slave.
When you choose the option for her to be your sex slave she will say that she understands and that she will accept your desire – this will send Miranda to the Basement.
When you choose the first option then she will say that she understands and that now her power is yours. She will introduce herself as Miranda, saying how she was a member of the Black Trial, but now she’s yours. Miranda will reassure you to not worry and that she’s not going to cut your head off while you sleep, and even though that’s an oddly specific thing you shouldn’t worry about, she says that she loves the strong.
According to her, she devoted her time to killing, and with no one left to challenge her you defeated her with force. She has been looking for someone like you, so she will say that the contract is sealed and then leave for the Holy Forest.
In the Holy Forest
Miranda will be in the eastern part of the Holy Forest sitting on a bench. She’s in the same part of the Holy Forest where you can find Elma and Goose.
When you talk to her she will say that if there’s someone you want dead you just have to tell her. If you try to rape Miranda she will say that rather than copulating, she prefers killing.
Hotel Poseidon
If you acquire Miranda as your companion and have her on the 100th level or higher, you will be able to take her to one of the rooms in Hotel Poseidon.
Talk to Pinocchio if you want to be alone with her, and then you will be alone with her in a room where you can either make love to her or kill her.

Miscellaneous interactions with Miranda.
Playing in the Water
If Miranda is level 30 or higher you can activate a scene with her (by going to the beach area) where she will be at the beach part of the Holy Forest, relaxing in the water.
Miranda will be sitting near the bank, soaking in the lake. She will see that you came to the beach area as well and will tell you to come in too, remarking how the water feels nice.
Miranda will wave to you to join her but you will hesitate for a little bit, “as if standing before the gates of Hell, yet in the end the curiosity of seeing her naked up close wins”.
You will take off your clothes and sit down next to her.
Miranda will ask you if it’s nice, and she will come close to you and snuggle up to your shoulder. You will feel a “whirlpool of desire” that you want to you’ll “desperately” suppress, so while thinking of something to talk about you will ask her about the Black Trial and what’s the deal with that organization.
Miranda will say that the Black Trial is an executioner guild with archdemon Baphomet at its head and that their base is inside the Tainted Bog. Miranda was an orphan so Baphomet took her in, she recognized a talent for fighting in her so Baphomet trained Miranda for dozens of years.
Miranda says that getting stronger was the only proof of her existence, so she wanted to get even stronger. So she decided to join you, because she couldn’t get any stronger in the Black Trial, but it’s also because for Baphomet she was just a tool, as she never saw her as anything more.
You will then gently brush Miranda’s wet hair and she will say that she likes this side of you too.
You will get a feeling that Miranda suddenly smiled.
The scene will end with you thinking about the Black Trial, questioning if they are truly only an executioner guild, saying how it’s maybe time to look for them inside the Tainted Bog.
In the Basement
Miranda in the Basement will obediently accept whatever you do to her. If you decide to rape her she will be alright with it because according to her it’s the “privilege of the strong”.
Ending A
Miranda is a character who appears in Ending A. She will be sitting at the table.
When you talk to Miranda, she will remark that the food is tasty, telling you to eat too.
She isn’t too talkative.
Companion Ending
Miranda is one of the characters in BLACKSOULS that has a Companion Ending.

Ending C
If Miranda is alive during the events of Ending C then there will be a special interaction with her and Lindamea in the Gathering of Black Souls area. But if you get into a covenant with Baphomet beforehand, the outcome of this interaction will be slightly different.
When you pass the bridge you will suddenly feel a black presence and Lindamea will appear behind you, coming straight for you to kill you. But before he has the chance to initiate a fight with you Miranda will appear and stop him right there.
If you’re not in a covenant with Baphomet, Lindamea will call Miranda the traitor of the Black Trial, and then the two of them will prepare to fight each other. Miranda will tell you to hurry, she will call you by your name to tell you she’s glad she met you. She will save you from Lindamea.
But if you are in a covenant with Baphomet, Miranda will tell him that you are not someone he should be fighting and that the mastermind who brought the world to ruin is laughing at their desperate attempts to fight even now. Miranda will tell Lindamea that you have no relation to what is happening.
And then she will ask him if he can move by his own will, which will make him realize that he has been obsessed with nonsense, doubling down on his statement by saying “No, I was made to dance like a puppet would”.
Baphomet died and Black Trial was annihilated, and he will tell you how you may be able to kill Mary Sue because humans can’t. Lindamea will walk off somewhere, and Miranda will stand aside, and you can have a little chat with her there.
You will notice that she’s wounded and that she put a lot of effort into getting to you – she can’t move, but she’s still alive.
Appearances | BS2
Miranda appears in BLACKSOULS 2 but in an unusual way. Besides being Miranda she’s also Meryphillia, a corpse-eating Ghoul.

Personality
Miranda is quite cold and practically emotionless. She cares about fighting a lot and she’s ready to do anything to have an epic battle. Miranda is brave and bold, she’s quite cute even though she rarely shows any emotions.
Fighting is her obsession, and as a proud member of Black Trial she’s ready to fight anyone and anywhere as long as they’re strong enough to give her a good time.
Design
Miranda has a very simple set of clothing. It consists of a rough-looking dress that has ropes holding everything together. She also has a brown hood that represents the head of some creature.
Her hair is short and black, just like her eyes. And her skin is quite pale. She has a giant axe she carries with her in battles.
