Marionette Boy Pinocchio is a fairytale in BLACKSOULS. In the first game, he can be found working at the reception of Hotel Poseidon. He’s in charge of the hotel which is actually a love hotel where you can make love to one of your companions.

Pinocchio works at Hotel Poseidon, which was created by the Little Mermaid. The couple must make love in the hotel, you can’t leave, otherwise one of the people in the hotel who was supposed to make love has to die.
To spend a night with your companion at the hotel, their level needs to be 100 or more.
When you talk to him you can either kill him or take his services.
If you choose the kill option, then you will initiate a fight with him. He has some tricky debuffs that he will cast on you, preventing you from attacking, but if you get around it you should be fine.
If you kill him you will get the Pinocchio fairytale.
Hotel Poseidon continues to function after Pinocchio dies, even without him at the reception.
Pinocchio has some links to the Black Trial. Killing him is a requirement in one of Baphomet’s tasks – once you do it he will remark, surprised, how you were a pawn of the Black Trial.
Hein will then appear, angrily complaining about how you stole his kill.
Once you tell Baphomet you killed him she will tell you that Pinocchio “dissected corpses in a terrible manner”, and that he did a lot of inhuman experiments on them.

Pinocchio makes a few appearances in BLACKSOULS 2 as well.
The first place where you can encounter him is in the Terrible Tragic Hotel area – he will be present during the Hotel Poseidon Flashback when you murdered all the heroines in Hotel Poseidon. You can see him behind the reception, walking around the tables with morbid content displayed on them.
The second place where you can see Pinocchio is before the fight with the Deep Sea Knight – you can summon him as a dream spirit if you beat the Whale Beast.
Pinocchio will be surprised to see that he has been summoned, but he will decide to help the “leading actor garner flowers” even though he has been “reduced to a support cast”. Pinocchio’s Puppet will be vocal about cutting the Deep Sea Knight to pieces, and Pinocchio will warn him to just not hurt the summoner.
It’s interesting to see how Pinocchio is aware of the Great Ones and their “stages”. This behavior is vastly different from the usual behavior of a dream spirit.
Defeating the Deep Sea Knight with Pinocchio by your side will give you the Pinocchio fairytale.
