Hotel Poseidon Flashback is a moment in BLACKSOULS 2 that happens in the secret Terrible Tragic Hotel area located in the Passenger Ship Atlantica.
Hotel Poseidon was a love hotel in the first game where you could make love to one of your companions, but if you didn’t make love you would be forced to kill the companion otherwise you wouldn’t be able to leave.
During one of the cycles, Grimm eventually kills all of his companions in Hotel Poseidon – having all fairytales is one of the requirements for Ending C.
To get this flashback you must have a high amount of SEN.
Entering the Terrible Tragic Hotel will bring you to an area that looks like just the inside of Hotel Poseidon, and then everything will have a bright pink filter that will show up when you enter one of the rooms to either kill or make love in the first game.
Behind the reception, you will be able to see Pinocchio walking around, and trying to leave the main hallway will bring you to the last moments of your dying companions. You will proceed to see the dying Dorothy, Elma, Goose, Jeanne, Catherine, and Elisabeth.
Grimm will say how he has no memories of killing them, and how his memory has been replaced while continuing to describe the gruesome scenes of his companions’ brutal deaths. And after that, Little Mermaid’s words will appear on your screen as well, telling you not to forget the “elder sister”.
You will then see yourself standing in the middle of a circle, surrounded by 8 “black souls”. They will whisper to you how you’re the evil one, but the other person talking will deny that and say how “it is you who did it”, and how “staining our souls black” is what they agreed upon and wanted.
Grimm will say how they don’t care for his words and that “they’ve already gone mad”, ending the sentence with “the writers cannot write any more stories”.
You will then see a description of emotions mixing and disappearing, and that will lead to a bunch of souls arguing with one another. The scene will quickly end during that and you will wake up in one of the beds in the hotel, specifically in the room where you had a bonfire in the first game.
