Shahrir (シャフリール) is a character in DEAD RED HOOD.
He’s based on King Shahryar from “One Thousand and One Nights”, a collection of Middle Eastern folktales compiled in Arabic. Shahryar’s first wife cheated on him so he decided to every day marry a virgin and then behead her the next morning so that she couldn’t betray him. Sharyar was also the husband of Scheherazade.
Shahrir is a tall man with a beard. He’s dressed in pretty casual-looking clothes but around his neck, he has a lot of pearl necklaces, and on his back, he has what appear to be peacock feathers.
