White Rabbit Node is an important character in BLACKSOULS 2 that’ll allow you to level up. She’s your ally and someone you can always turn back to in the game. Node is one of the Great Ones and her role in the story is significant.
You can find her for the first time in the Library Dream, which you can access by dying. She won’t be immediately there – she will show up after 1 Progression Point.

Node is one of the most useful characters in the game because through her you can level up your character. And she offers a nice covenant pretty early on.
Library Dream
When you meet Node for the first time she’ll introduce herself and declare her loyalty to you. She’ll welcome you to Wonderland, and warn you of the Four Nightmares that you can find in this Garden:
Talking to Node will allow you to get the dialogue option through which you can level up your character. You can also buy colored souls from her, enter a covenant with her, and kill or force her to have intercourse with you.
Killing her will decrease your SEN by -30, and trying to send her to the dungeon won’t lock her up down there, but it will show you an NSFW scene and increase your SEN by 10. You can’t remove her from the Library Dream, she will always be back.
Sleeping Node
At one point in the game, when you come to the Library Dream, there’s a possibility you can encounter Node sleeping on her chair.
You will have multiple choices you can make when you interact with her while she’s in the sleeping state. You can wake Node up, force her into intercourse, or just play with her. Regardless of what you do, she’ll wake up.
But certain options have certain fun consequences.
Covenant
Node is one of the first characters in the game you can form a covenant with. Her covenant is very useful as it allows you to do things that can drastically help you in the game.
Node’s covenant is also conveniently cheap. Equipping her covenant will increase your maximum amount of health by a significant amount, and it will also allow you to heal way more when using healing items.
One of the first things you will be able to do in Node’s covenant is ask her to make you watches, this will lead to a shop display where you can buy Rabbit’s Pocket Watch that speeds up recovery for skill on cooldown. This is a crucial item if you’re interested in gunclocking.
When you level up her covenant even more she will talk about her birthplace and how it was surrounded by the ocean. She will say how she’d like to show how you she looks in a swimsuit, which is possible to see if you collect all fairytales and put them in the Fairy Tale Archive. But this requires a maxed-out covenant with her.
Fully leveling up her covenant will also unlock many different NSFW scenes as well.
Collecting All Fairytales
If you collect all fairytales in the game and fill the Fairy Tale Archive with them, Node will appear and offer you a few rewards you can choose from. There are 31 fairytales you have to collect, click here for a full list of them.
You can only choose one reward she offers you.
The first reward Node offers is souls – she will give you 1 million souls.
The second reward Node offers are certain items – she will give you 1 Ore Slab, 10 Girl’s Scent, 30 Candy, and 50 Rabbit’s Pocketwatch.
The third reward Node offers is her ring – White Rabbit Ring, this ring gives you Bonus Action Chance 50%, and All Parameters+20%.
There is also a fourth reward which you can only see if you have maxed out your covenant with Node. This will give you the option to force Node to wear a swimsuit and then have her show herself to you – this can lead to an NSFW scene, and she really looks pretty in a swimsuit.
Ending B
Node plays a significant part during the Ending B in the game. To achieve this ending you have to max out covenants with most of the characters in the game, and with Node herself. When you do that make love to Node and then you will be able to tell her how you’re tired and get the option to abandon Alice.
She will then lead you to the nightmare version of the Library Dream, and show you your “daughters” hatching from giant monster eggs. Node will end this whole ordeal with “…And a happy breeding season will soon begin once again”.
A more detailed explanation of Ending B can be found here.
Ending G/F
When you reject all the Alices and choose Alice Liddell, you will initiate the events that precede either Ending F or Ending G. During this time you will be in the Little Girl’s Nightmare area, where you will have to get through to the majority of the characters from the game, but they’re in their true forms that are very violent.
When you reach a certain point you will see Node who will not oppose you like the rest.
She will talk to you about why all of this is happening, mentioning the Crawling One and Mary Sue. Node will start the conversation by saying how Wonderland is beginning to collapse, saying how it looks like “you’re about to awaken from the dream”.
She will then continue by describing you as “Mary Sue’s unmatched masterpiece”, and she will tell you how you are “an amalgamation of this world’s creators”.
She will describe your body as “a body that far surpasses humanity”, and say how you fit to be a Great One’s husband. Node will then go on how the Crawling One made a proposition to her – a plan to produce offspring of the Great Ones in an endless cycle of copulation with them. Node says how those children will then copulate with you to make even more children, describing everything as an “ever-turning gear”.
Node herself says that she “bore too many children to count”.
Node will then go on to say how she won’t stop you from your “awakening”, but will mention that the Crawling One won’t accept it since its true aim all along was to have “an eternally repeating love story that would never come true”.
Node is against you being the Crawling One’s toy, so that’s why she’s on your side. She loves you a lot, and in that moment she will kiss you on the lips, giving you the Miracle skill, Raise – this Miracle allows you to revive a fallen ally.
Fighting the White Rabbit Node
If you try to kill Node in the Library Dream she will always come back and never actually die. Killing her will reduce your SEN by -30. However, when you’re in the process of achieving Endings F/G, you will encounter her and also have the option to kill her.
This will initiate a fight with Node, who will fight you in a demonbeast form as the White Rabbit Node. Node is a difficult enemy to kill in this form, if you take a certain amount of her health she will summon Gear enemies to help her out, and also she will buff herself and get stronger.
If you get past all of them she will enter her second form – White Queen Node where she’s even stronger than before. She will basically say how being a Great One is boring once you defeat her, and she will also admit to falling in love with you – her last words are “Sitting on a throne….. is a terribly boring thing…”
Node’s Role
There are houses in Winterbell you can enter, and inside those houses, there are stuffed polar bears that can show you memories of certain events that happened between certain Great Ones.
This memory starts with Mabel complaining to Node how “this place” stinks of the shore, stating her clothes will get moldy. Node will offer Mabel some wine and then she will remark how she heard Mabel has stepped down from the stage, which Mabel will confirm.
Mabel will say how she was “intrigued by that child’s masterpiece”. She will then outwards reject Node’s offer to take a human shape, sit in her Garden, and “propagate with that toy”. Mabel will compliment the quality of its soul, saying how she’d even like to have it in her Garden, Shatranj.
Node will get mad and she will call out Mabel for taking advantage of other people’s work while acting as the one who made it. She calls Mabel a parasite and even compares her to Mary Sue.
Mabel will laugh and say how she’s done playing pretend human, then she will ask Node to show her true nature, asking her why is she giving away the crown to “shelter that child”, asking her if she wants to take it and devour it. She will then call Node out even more by saying how she’s actually scheming something because that’s a Great One’s true nature.
Node will not agree with what Mabel is saying, and she will say that she’s actually motivated by love. This will make Mabel laugh even more because she doesn’t believe a Great One can love, but Node won’t back down and she will instead say how she understands the human heart. She will talk more about the “human heart”, and how that’s something every Outer One wants to have.
Node will say even if it’s only faux-humanity, she still wants to understand him, she wants to know true love, and she wants to experience it.
Mabel will be disgusted by everything Node is saying, and she will let her know that, saying how it’s impossible for an Outer One to understand emotions, and that Node will grow bored with it.
Node will tell her to leave her Garden because she doesn’t want to hear more of her insults.
But then, Mabel will suddenly say how she didn’t come to argue with Node, but rather she wants to tell her how she will get the love she desires. Node’s ear will twitch, and Mabel will ask her to lend her that ear so she can whisper something to her.
Mabel will say how she had enough of “this joke of a party”, and that’s why she wants to end this quickly. So, if Node does the thing Mabel whispered to her, she will get the chance to outplay them all and be the sole winner.
Node won’t trust her so easily but Mabel will ask her if she’d “be happier to be shown a fantastic tale than to live an unfulfilling reality?”. Node will think for a little bit, and declare how for his happiness she will act.
Mabel will suddenly tell Node to wait, Node won’t understand, but Mabel will follow up with “it’s listening”, most likely alluding to the Crawling One.
Submitting to Grand Guignol
Node is a key character in the events around the fight with Grand Guignol, she’s your most faithful companion.
When you approach Grand Guignol you don’t have to fight it, you can just submit to it and give it your soul.
If you do that then you will get a game over, but before that a short scene and dialogue with Node.
Node will wake you up from your sleep and say how the Crawling One is non-stop assaulting Wonderland, but she will reassure you how it’s alright by saying you should be able to deal with it because now you’ve “awakened as a Creator”.
After that Node will continue to talk about how the Garden is ready, along with how “our children are many in number”. Then from a black screen, it will cut to a scene of Node in some kind of a morbid place, while she’s pregnant presumably with you, i.e. Grimm.
Bunny Suit
In Winterbell at a certain part of the area, you can find a Bunny Suit.
So the next time you go back to the Library Dream and talk to Node you will have the option to give her the Bunny Suit. You can initiate an NSFW scene where she wears a bunny suit, but all this is possible only if you max out her covenant.
During the NSFW scene Node will lose herself in pretending to be a rabbit.
Winterbell and Past Events
Winterbell used to be Node’s garden before she gave it to Prickett, who turned it into Queensland. Node used to have the title of the White Queen, and Unis was acquainted with her in the past. She stepped away from the throne so she could be with Grimm because she madly fell in love with him.
Node decided to be always by Grimm’s side and aid him in his search for Alice. This results in Node aiding Grimm always throughout the cycles repeating over and over again as he’s stuck in Wonderland unless he reaches either Ending G or Ending H.
Node knows Mabel but isn’t too fond of her.
Prickett and Node, i.e. the Red Queen and the White Queen, stored Mary Sue’s Ability to Change into a new Great One, the Theatre of Darkness – Grand Guignol. They stripped Mary Sue of her divinity.
There’s a section in Prickett’s post that dwells into Node’s interaction with her – you can check it out here.
Red Hood was brought by Node into Wonderland, and the Cheshire Cat, or just Dinah, is Node’s piece.
Ending H
When you defeat Grand Guignol, Node will suddenly appear behind you. She will come towards you with a dagger in her hand while declaring her definite love towards you, i.e. Grimm.
Node is here presented as the White Queen Node instead of the White Rabbit Node.
She will then cut off her long braided hair with the dagger and happily say how she’s going to step aside now. It makes her very sad that she can’t be with Grimm together, but even so, she accepts it and is glad for even meeting him in the first place and spending so much time with him. All that made her truly happy, even though it now came to an end.
Node will send Grimm further through the door in an instant before he can say anything, and then Node will be surrounded by multiple Outer Ones related to the Crawling One. Then Dinah will appear and protect Node, while more Alice copies surround the two of them.
Personality
Node is loyal to you, the player, i.e. Grimm. She’ll always be there in the library waiting for you to come back, and it’s in her main interest that you’re safe or doing good. Node will comply with almost anything Grimm is up to, and she will supplement it with her warmth and caretaker-like attitude.
Design
Node is a white rabbit in the form of a human. She has rabbit ears, white hair, and red eyes that are passionate. Her hair is long and tied up and it has a light red ribbon attached to it as well.
Out of clothing, she doesn’t wear anything revealing, just a white robe that looks perfect on her because of how it encapsulates the shape of her body. Node is fairly attractive and she’s very charming.
