Griffin Knight Griffy is a character in BLACKSOULS 2 you can find at the Tenniel Bridge right after leaving Brothel Street. She’s a cheery friendly character you will encounter throughout the game and also one of the characters with a cute and funny questline you can follow.
She’s most likely based on the Gryphon from Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland”.

Appearances | BS2
Griffy makes a lot of appearances in BS2, and even in places where you sometimes might not expect to see her.
Tenniel Bridge
You will encounter her for the first time at Tenniel Bridge where she’ll be standing on top of it. The Carpenter didn’t have enough time to finish the bridge so it has a hidden hole in it that she warns you about.
Griffy will tell you to stay on the left, but she’s wrong, if you stay on the left you will fall into the sewers, straight to the Underbridge area.
If you do all of that, she will be very sorry and give you a Mysterious Shard which is great for reinforcing weapons. And if you stay on the right side and talk to her again she will be very sorry, if you don’t forgive her she’ll give you a Mysterious Shard, and if you do you’ll also get it regardless.
At the end of the bridge, there’s a chest with a Rabbit Key.
Talking to Bill
Griffy and Bill seem to know each other, as there’s a chance of you encountering them while they’re having a conversation at the Serpent God’s Altar. Griffy will come to ask Bill whether he can be a juror, but he will say that she asked him that already and he will reject her offer.
Bill will say how he will no longer follow the cause of Her Majesty the Queen of Hearts.
Griffy will tell him that he looks like a girl and Bill will tell her to leave because Grimm came to visit Bill.
Griffy’s Kiss
After encountering Griffy at the Serpent God’s Altar while she’s talking to Bill, the next place where you’ll be able to find her is the Garden of the Heart, to be more specific she’s at the secluded part of the area you can get to by going northeast.
Griffy will be there and in front of her will be the Grape Guardbeast, who’s a fairytale and a dangerous demonbeast.
Griffy will be happy to see you again and she will warn you of him. She has a direct edict from the queen to subjugate the best and she will offer you to defeat the beast together.
If you manage to defeat the demonbeast Griffy will be very happy and she will thank you for helping her out. She will ask you for your name, and then she will repay her debt by telling you to look behind you, and then she will use that moment to kiss you.
Queen’s Castle
After you meet Lorina and defeat her knights, you will be able to meet Griffy in front of the entrance to Lorina’s lair. You will be able to talk to Griffy in the hallway and she will tell you how Alice escaped from her execution, “she was seen fleeing the castle and running towards the city”.
Griffy is one of Lorina’s knights.
Mocky and Griffy
Griffy can be also found inside the Sea Turtle Restaurant where she will be talking to the Mock Turtle, i.e. Mocky, as she likes to call her. Griffy will be surprised to see you come while they’re talking, but she won’t mind. She says that once this break is over she will head to the Looking-Glass Land as a diplomatic envoy.
If you try to kill Mocky, Griffy can intervene to stop you from doing that, because she really likes her. Their relationship is a close one, and even though Griffy confesses her feelings towards you in Queensland, she still loves Mocky.
They have cute unique interactions.
Meryphillia and Griffy
Griffy is aware of Meryphillia’s existence.
When you talk to Lorina for a little bit after defeating her knights, you can go back to the first hallway you get to when you enter the castle, and there on the sign is the queen’s proclamation regarding Meryphillia.
The proclamation says that people are needed for the subjugation of the Corpse Eating Demon. It will continue with how “the clan of Corpse-Eaters has no place in our country”, and how one of the Corpse-Eaters has been spotted at the Beach of Grief. The one who kills it will get a reward.
Then Griffy will fly over to you and ask you if you’re planning to go and kill it yourself. She will then proceed to imitate a ghoul. From this dialogue, you can learn that the difference between a ghoul and a hollow is that the hollow isn’t intelligent, and “all they do is rot”.
Most of the corpse-eaters are killed, so this one is a rare sight. Griffy will then offer you to split the reward 50/50, and she will say how she’ll be waiting for you at the Beach of Grief.
After that, you can find her at the Corpse-Eating Demon’s Den. She will start talking about ghouls and how they aren’t too different from the undead. Ghouls can’t be killed so they get beheaded and sent to the Slaughterhouse where they get killed for eternity. Griffy then adds how they are already dead but they just delude themselves that they’re alive and that’s how they stay alive. Ghouls also have a special ability, that she can’t remember at this moment.
When you defeat Meryphillia in the fight it will be revealed that she’s Miranda from the first game, who was one of the members of the Black Trial. Griffy will be weirded out by the fact you’re friends with a ghoul, and she will leave her to you and she won’t tell the queen about it.
Griffy will keep quiet about it but also keep the entire reward for herself.
Queensland Confession
If you talked with Griffy a couple of times the next place you can find her is Queensland. She will be sitting on the bench that’s next to the bonfire in that area. Griffy will be glad to see you again and she will start talking about the Red Queen, i.e. Prickett, and her incredible singing.
Griffy will start talking about how she’s now a total fangirl for the Red Queen, and her singing has forced her to feel certain unbearable emotions. She will then proceed to ask you if you can embrace her, and that’s when you will get the chance to make love to Griffy.
She will say that she doesn’t have any regrets anymore, and then she will go back to Lorina’s castle.
If you talk to Griffy while you’re on a date with Prickett, they will make weird noises at each other.
Assassination
After meeting Griffy in Queensland, go back to the Red Castle to witness the end of her storyline. If you don’t want Lorina to die, then don’t meet Griffy in Queensland.
When you come to Lorina’s lair you will see Griffy and blood on Lorina’s chair. Griffy killed the queen and she will be surprised that you’re here as well. Griffy will say “the mad bloodline must be destroyed to the last. Just like the Red Queen said”.
You will get the option to give Griffy a Sea Turtle Soup or just do nothing. If you don’t do anything you will get in a fight with her nightmare form, but if you give her the soup she will immediately recognize it as Mocky’s soup, and then she will say how she’ll leave you behind and go with Mocky, adding how her heart was always Mocky’s.
Griffy will be very frustrated because she deceived you and killed the queen as well. She will ask you to kill her, but you can also calm her down. This will trigger a scene where Griffy is in Mocky’s restaurant apologizing to her and most likely confessing to her that she killed the queen. Mocky will be just glad that Griffy is safe, and both of them will stay happy together.
In the restaurant, after everything is over Griffy will tell you how “wild delusions” invaded her mind when she heard the Red Queen’s Song. But she will also tell you to not blame the Red Queen as it’s not her fault at all.
After finishing her storyline, you will be able to have a threesome with her and Mocky.
Griffy’s Mysterious Death
After a certain level of progression when you come to the Beach of Grief, you will see a rather unsettling sight in front of Mock Turtle’s house.
Griffy will be in front of the house, but dead. She collapsed after vomiting a lot of blood on the wall of the house, and it seemed like she was trying to get inside the house as her hand was reaching for the doorknob.
The culprit behind this murder is Jubjub. She likes killing people after a certain level of progression, i.e. going through fogs and killing bosses. She’s a mad bird, so make sure to get rid of her if you don’t want Griffy to die.
Personality
Since Griffy is a knight she’s quite honorable. She’s one of the friendlier characters you will encounter in the game and she’s also quite cheerful, and I’m always happy to be around her.
Griffy is very cute, especially when she’s with the Mock Turtle.
Design
Since Griffy is a griffin by nature, she also has wings just like a real griffin would have them. On top of that, she’s always wearing majestic yellow armor that’s very detailed and it perfectly fits her bright yet assertive personality.
She has brown hair and blue eyes and is very cute. She’s a natural beauty.
