Glinda is a witch in the BLACKSOULS series. She is the reason why Dorothy made peace with the Sabbath when they summoned Leonard to kill Dorothy. The battle with the Sabbath was very long but Glinda managed to mediate between the two.
Glinda is based on the character Glinda from L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz book. In the game, she’s described as a “good witch” which is also her title in the book.
A few hundred years passed since the resolution of Dorothy’s conflict, Dorothy became a witch so she decided to come back to the Forest of Sabbath but now it’s invaded and destroyed by the Black Trial. Dorothy doesn’t know what happened to Glinda, so she’s worried about her.
After defeating the Nameless Demon, who used to be Leonard back in the day, you will reach a bookshelf at the end of the area that has Glinda’s apprenticeship diary. The diary is normal for the most part, describing how with each year there were fewer and fewer witches until it was only her and Leonard.
The last page of the diary is filled with a messy script where Glinda is describing some sort of disaster she made. Glinda says that she summoned “something unthinkable” and says how these demons aren’t normal. She says how they are fighting Leonard and that he has no chance of winning while continuing to describe how the sky is turning red and how the world is breaking.
Glinda continues to say how she didn’t want this to happen, and how she only wanted to be noticed by other witches from around the world. The rest of the text is filled with her apologizing, and calling out for Dorothy to save her.
You can then summon Dorothy during the interaction with her diary, and Dorothy will be confused by her statement that the sky is turning red and that the world is breaking because that’s not the case here. Dorothy is very sorry because she wasn’t able to assist Glinda, but is also very curious about what she saw before dying.
It’s most likely that Glinda is dead because there’s a skeleton with the Ring of the Good Witch next to the bookshelf where her diary is.
