Knight Pumpkin-O is an NPC in BLACKSOULS 2 that you can encounter for the first time at the bonfire in the Liddell Cemetery.
He’s a friendly NPC that will assist you on many parts of your journey – you will find him most of the time in places related to Duchess because there’s a lot of stuff between them going on.

Knight Pumpkin-O appears in various different locations in the game. He’s one of the nicest characters you can encounter.
Liddell Cemetery
One of the places you can find him for the first time is the Liddell Cemetery. He’s right at the bonfire, and he’ll be asleep. When you wake him up you will have a short conversation with him – he will be fond of you, and even give you a Herb Flask.
You can’t talk to him if your SEN is low enough.
Fighting the Knight Pumpkin-O
If you try to kill Pumpkin-O he will initiate a fight with you. He won’t give up easily, but if you manage to kill him his last words will be “Rette”, which is the Duchess’ nickname.
Spore Forest
One of the places where you can see Pumpkin-O is the Spore Forest, right before the fight with Old Knight William. If you don’t see him before the fog, then you should go to the Liddell Cemetery and exhaust his dialogue there. That way he’ll definitely appear there, if you don’t kill him of course.
He will be sleeping, but if you wake him up he will be happy to see you and there you can talk to him.
If you progress through the fog, Old Knight William will come out and attack you. Pumpkin-O will notice this and instantly jump to help you.
After you beat William, he will tell you that he’s sure you can find Alice. And then he’ll mention that he’s retreating to his base. His base is inside Infinite Food, in the Duchess’ Mansion.
Pumpkin Base
In the Infinite Food, if you go north of the bonfire you will get to the Pumpkin Base, and that’s where Pumpkin-O lives.
Pumpkin-O will be inside the Pumpkin Base if you talked to him at the Liddell Cemetery, and then beat the Old Knight William with him together in the Spore Forest. He will be sleeping, and if you wake him up he will be happy to see you. He will advise you to go search for Alice instead of talking to him.
Duchess’ Mansion
In the Duchess’ Mansion, you can find a picture of the Duchess, Pumpkin-O, and the Cheshire Cat. It seems like he is or at least he used to be quite close to her. The picture looks quite different if your SEN is low.
Personality
Pumpkin-O has a warm and reassuring personality. He’s a brave knight who likes to sleep a lot, and he will assist you when you need help on your journey, but only during certain parts when you’re in trouble. With that smiling pumpkin on his head, he always looks so joyous.
Design
One of the most notable parts of Pumpkin-O’s overall appearance is his pumpkin head. Other than that, he doesn’t have any too recognizable features, besides that he’s a living pumpkin. The rest of his attire is some black clothing that looks like robes.
