Wandering Knight Izu is a knight and the Prince of the Lost Empire. You can find him at a certain part of Fort Ivern, he is Cinderella’s son. Izu is a character you can easily miss, but he has a storyline that will allow you to enter a covenant with Cinderella.

Izu’s storyline has specific conditions you have to follow, otherwise he will just disappear.
Fort Ivern
To get to Izu you need to first reach Fort Ivern, and then find him ambushed at the bottom right part of the fortress in a little bit secluded part of the area that doesn’t lead to anywhere specifically.
Defeating the Knight in Armor will make him disappear, so reach out to him before you do that.
Graveyard Town Elixir
The next place where you can find Izu is Graveyard Town Elixir, he’s close to the cathedral – Izu is ambushed by Ghouls at the left graveyard. Once you save him he will be grateful again to see you, and he will talk more about himself and his mother.
Izu will say how the demonic princess Cinderella, his mother, is forming the wicked fog that turns people into demonbeasts. He remembers her as a wise and gentle mother, so he isn’t sure what brought her to insanity. Izu wants to see her again no matter what it takes, but to enter the Lost Empire the four demonic princesses have to be defeated first.
If Patrasche is defeated in the Cathedral then Izu will be gone.
Holy Forest
After killing four demonic princesses Izu will be in the Holy Forest. He will talk about the Lost Empire and how it was the most splendid country full of pure and virtuous people. Izu studied in many advanced countries in the south but he never found a country more charming than the Lost Empire. He still wonders why all this happened in the first place.
Izu will not be in the Holy Forest if you enter the Lost Empire.
The Lost Empire
The next and last time you will see Izu is inside the Lost Empire, right before the Ash-Clad Stairway that leads to Cinderella’s lair. Izu will be on the floor, dying, and he will tell you to kill his mother because her existence only brings suffering to the human world.
You can finish off Izu, but there’s no need for that. If you talked to him then you already unlocked the ability to steal his appearance.
Room of Reminiscene and Cinderella
The last time you get to talk to Izu is inside the Lost Empire, before the entrance to the Ash-Clad Stairway. After that, you will be able to head into the Room of Reminiscene and steal Izu’s appearance, as his armor (appearance) will be put next to the other appearances you can switch to.
When you do that you can go to Cinderella and talk to her without her initiating a fight with you. Cinderella will recognize you as her son and you will be able to enter a covenant with her – you will then be able to make love to Cinderella.
Fighting Wandering Knight Izu
Trying to kill Izu will initiate a fight with him, if you beat Izu in a fight you will not be able to get his appearance later on and enter a covenant with Cinderella.
Ending A
Izu appears in Ending A if you complete his storyline. He will call himself pathetic because you saved everyone by yourself, while he’s the prince of the country. Izu is glad you stopped his mother.
