Devourer Patrasche is a fairytale you can find in BLACKSOULS, he’s in the Cathedral area that you can get to by going through the Graveyard Town Elixir. When you enter the Cathedral you will see him killing his own companion Nello.
These characters are based on Nello and Patrasche from the 19th-century novel “A Dog of Flanders”.
Fighting him is difficult at the beginning of the game, but it is also completely optional. He has a lot of health and he can throw a lot of attacks at once after charging for a little bit.
Killing him will give you the Dog of Elixir fairytale.

Like many other fairytales from the first game, Patrasche also makes an appearance in BLACKSOULS 2.
You will be able to summon him for the fight against the Beast of Conceit, where he’ll be called Sacrificed Patrasche. This fight is located in the Carroll River area, at the bridge that leads to Jabberwock.
Killing the Beast of Conceit with Patrasche summoned will give you the Dog of Flanders fairytale.
