Secret Princess Kuti

Secret Princess Kuti is a character in BLACKSOULS 2 that appears in the House for the Princess, located at the deepest point of the Deep Sea. She’s guarded by The Deep Sea Knight, and she’s also one of the Great Ones.

She has an older sister Zoa, the Cheeky Oyster.

The first time you’ll most likely see Kuti is in the House for the Princess area, which is a temple that’s basically her home at the end of the Deep Sea area, and where you can find her sleeping.

Waking Her Up

When you see Kuti for the first time, she will be sleeping, if you decide to wake her up she will get out of her bed and be surprised because you have skin. She’ll continue to examine you until she realizes that you’re the perfect male specimen she’s looking for.

Then, she’ll instantly ask you to have children with her, because you’re her prince.

Whatever you say doesn’t matter, only if you don’t intend on killing her or sending her to the dungeon.

Covenant

Kuti is one of the characters you can get in a covenant with.

• Level 0 – Cost: Free. Abilities: Bonus Action 5%, Basic Attack Count+1. Options: X.
• Level 1 – Cost: 250000. Abilities: Bonus Action 15%, Basic Attack Count+1. Options: Kiss.
• Level 2 – Cost: 500000. Abilities: Bonus Action 35%, Basic Attack Count+1. Options: Kiss, I want you to service me.
• Level 3 – Cost: 1000000. Abilities: Bonus Action 50%, Basic Attack Count+1. Options: Kiss, I want you to service me.

When you come to Kuti and tell her that you want to form a covenant with her, she will say: “…You would become Kuti’s believer too?”.

Level 0 dialogue: “Kuti once read a picture book. In it, the Little Mermaid fell in love with a human, left the ocean and came upon land, and lived happily ever after. My (your name), you hail from the land too, yes? …It must be nice. Here, it’s dark and lonely, and not comfortable at all…”

Level 1 dialogue: “Ah-ah-ah…♪ My (your name), you wish to enjoy chatting with Kuti? But we will be making babies at the end, yes? A-after all…Kuti waited for it for so long.”

Level 2 dialogue: “This home was made by Kuti’s Knight. H-he’s very gentle and would do anything for Kuti. My (your name), I think you would make great friends with him! Kufu-kufu♪”

Choosing the Make children dialogue option while in a level 3 covenant with Kuti, she will say: “Kfufu, kfufufu……♡ Now that we’re tied by a covenant, making children with my dear has become so much more fulfilling….♡”.

When you kiss Kuti during the first levels of the covenant, she will be confused, as kissing was something foreign to her until you showed her. But when you fully level up her covenant, she will get good at kissing, saying that she came to like it in the end.

Level 3 dialogue: “Once I return, I’ll tell mama all about it. K-Kuti was able to find her prince. So very handsome…and romantic prince♡ You’ll…always love Kuti, right?♡ Kufufu♡”

Fighting the Secret Princess Kuti

You can fight Kuti if you want to, you don’t have to have children with her even though she’s really urging you. Her fight can be difficult, but if you’re strong enough it’ll be alright, just watch out when she gets furious after you take a significant portion of her health.

Defeating Kuti will give you a lot of souls, an Ore Slab, and the Celestial Ring.

Fighting the Secret Princess Kuti, 0 SEN

If you have 0 SEN, Kuti will look quite different. She’ll be a scary tentacle monster, and when you approach her, the only option you’ll be able to choose is to kill her. Trying to kill Kuti will get you in a fight with her.

Kuti in the Dungeon

When you wake up Kuti, you can send her straight to the dungeon, although that will initiate a fight with her, which you may lose if you’re not prepared.

After you defeat her in a fight, you’ll initiate a forceful NSFW scene with Kuti, and she’ll be sent to the dungeon, but to the floor below the usual area because she needs water in her habitat.

If you decide to talk to her, she’ll jumpscare you with her crying face. Kuti will be devastated that you decided to force her like this and that you weren’t the prince charming she was hoping for.

After you leave the area and come back to it, you’ll be able to notice Node and Kuti interacting with each other. Node will be bringing Kuti food, but Kuti will be depressed because she’s locked in a cell. She hoped for a fairy-tale-like story with her “prince”, but all she got was sexual abuse and confinement.

Node will tell her how she can’t let her go, because before she came she sent the invitation to the Great Water God who refused to come to Wonderland, and then Kuti came instead without the knowledge of her parent.

She’ll then shift the blame on her sister, but Node will prohibit her from returning regardless. Node will anger her with some more of her talk, and then Kuti will attack her by summoning tentacles and trapping Node with them.

Kuti will start crying about how she followed her sister here, but Node will tell her she can get freed when the End of the World comes.

Kuti will continue to insult Node because her master, Grimm, is just a sexual deviant, or that’s at least how Kuti sees it. Node was constantly talking about how Kuti should have children with Grimm, but Kuti didn’t want to be used in that way. Node will then say how she stepped down from her throne to become a yes-man, made to play along the story, so she will permit Kuti to insult her because she’s foolish, but she will not allow her to insult Grimm.

Then you will be able to intervene but once you come towards both of them, Kuti will want to fight you again. She wants to fill the entire world with water to make it a giant ocean, but Node will stop her by exiling her into an endless pit where she’ll be falling forever.

Kuti Floods the Beach

Jubjub’s Madness can even get to Kuti if you interact with her before there are 10 Progression Points activated. If you maxxed out Kuti’s covenant and if you made love to her through the “Make children” option before 10 Progression Points, when Jubjub’s Madness event happens the entire Beach of Grief will be flooded.

You will be able to find her at the end of the now-flooded beach area.

Kuti seems upset because you didn’t stay with her, but while talking to her she sounds rather happy – she likes the land a lot because it has many fun things you can’t find in the sea, and it reminds her of the picture books she reads.

If Mock Turtle is still in her restaurant then Kuti will remark how her meat wasn’t tasty at all.

Kuti will ask you if you would like to go on an adventure with her, all around the world just with her. She wants to visit a land shrouded in mist, a tower higher than any castle, and the whole cosmos.

Kuti is excited to be with you. She wants to be just like the Little Mermaid she reads about.

Kuti wants to flood the entire world, saying how that’s the “princess’ privilege”. She wants to have a lot of kids with you, plenty of servants, and she wants to kill the “cruel big sister” who left Kuti (aka Zoa). She says that she doesn’t even need a mom as long as she has you – she’s quite sweet.

The conversation will end and you will have the option to kill her if you interact with her again. If you do that Kuti will be heartbroken but you won’t kill her in an instant even though you have a full covenant with her – she will fight back.

Personality

Kuti is fairly composed and very cute. She likes reading fairy tales, and she wants to live life like one of the characters in them with her special prince. She gets immediately attached to Grimm, and she wants to have children with him and have a happy life.

Although, Kuti isn’t like other girls because she will be very angry and sad if you decide to put her in the dungeon. She’ll even want to fight you to go back home.

Design

While Kuti looks like a human, she really isn’t one. She doesn’t have legs, instead, she has tentacles that are slightly larger than the ones coming out of her hair. Her skin is light blue, and her tentacles are too.

Kuti doesn’t wear clothing, her face is very cute with her large yellow eyes. She has long light blue hair and some kind of headgear that’s an arrangement of colorful stars. She also has something black that looks like horns coming out of her head.
