Gunclocking is a fighting tactic in BLACKSOULS 2 where you use the Rabbit’s Pocket Watch to reset the cooldown on a firearm’s Gun Break skill. This allows you to deal damage to the enemy without making a turn – this goes well with weapons, covenants, and armor that increase damage.
With gunclocking you can defeat the majority of the enemies in the game with relative ease. However, a lot of enemies in the DLC3 part of the game have domains that make gunclocking useless.
To get a Rabbit’s Pocket Watch you have to be in at least a level 1 covenant with Node, and you can only have 99 of them in your inventory – 1 Rabbit’s Pocket Watch costs 5000 souls.
Make sure to have a gun equipped instead of a shield so you can use the Gun Break skill to shoot an enemy without making a turn.
