The Golden Chick is a character in BLACKSOULS 2 that Humpty Dumpty gives birth to, she holds the Goose that Laid Golden Eggs fairytale. She highly resembles Rich Bird Goose from the first game, and even though they have different fairytales, they may be connected in some way or another.
Golden Chick is based on “The Goose that Laid the Golden Eggs”, which is an Aesop’s fable.

To meet the Golden Chick you have to make Humpty Dumpty give birth.
Humpty Dumpty Gives Birth
When Humpty Dumpty reaches the 99th level or more, he’ll start giving birth when you talk to him again.
Right then in front of you, he will start cracking and then he will finally break in two pieces, with a small cute little bird coming out of him wishing you a good morning while addressing you as “father”. Apparently, Humpty Dumpty is the “mother”.
Humpty Dumpty died while giving birth to the Golden Chick, who’s now resting in his corpse (cracked eggshell).
This Golden Chick is very cute and she will jump towards you, and then you will be forced to give her a name. And from then on, you can do whatever you want with her, she’s technically your daughter now, and she recognizes you as her father.
You will gently pat her head, and she will exclaim how she likes head pats while laughing softly.
Talking to the Golden Chick
After the Golden Chick is born you will be able to do various things to her.
You can pat her head, kiss her, ask her for certain services, kill her, and send her to the dungeon. When you stop interacting with her she will say how “mother” taught her that the outside is dangerous, so she will always be at the same place waiting for “father”.
Sometimes when you want to talk to her she will sing.
0 SEN Scene
The Golden Chick doesn’t change if you have 0 SEN, but there’s a secret line of dialogue during the servicing scene if your SEN is low.
At the end of the scene, the Golden Chick expresses her wish to marry you, her father. You say that that’s a wonderful dream but that it is also a little too hasty. The Golden Chick nonetheless says that you two will be absolutely a husband and wife mentioning how it’s a promise.
But right before the scene ends, she says “So don’t betray me this time, ok?”.
It’s not clear what she means by that odd 0 SEN interaction, but it could be related to Rich Bird Goose from the first game, because you kill her in Hotel Poseidon, and there’s also the companion ending with her that ends miserably. Rich Bird Goose and the Golden Chick look awfully similar, despite having different fairytales.
Jubjub and the Golden Chick
When Jubjub’s Madness event happens, Jubjub will come to the Carroll River and pay a visit to the Golden Chick. They have an interesting conversation that shows a different side of Jubjub that’s kind and caring.
For more details surrounding the interaction check out the post on Jubjub.
Killing the Golden Chick
If you decide you want to kill the Golden Chick, you can do it easily since she can’t really fight at all. Killing her will give you the Goose That Laid Golden Eggs fairytale, along with all the souls you gave to Humpty Dumpty so he could give birth to her.
Node’s Candy
If the Golden Chick is in the dungeon, she will have some Candy on her bed.
Later while talking to her, she will say that the White Rabbit (i.e. Node) came and gave her some candy. You have the option to take Candy away from her.
The Golden Egg
There’s a rare chance for the Golden Chick to lay a Golden Egg and give it to you.
The Golden Egg is an item that will give you 250,000 souls if you use it, but the chance of getting it is extremely rare.
Personality
The Golden Chick seems like one of the most innocent characters in the game because she’s just a cute little chick after all. She really loves her father, i.e. you, and would do anything to make you happy. Her way of speaking is cute and having her around can cheer anyone up considering how morbid the game can be.
Design
The Golden Chick is very small – in a way she looks like a small yellow version of Rich Bird Goose from the first game. As a chick, she will always be in the broken shell of Humpty Dumpty, which is the egg that she came out from.
The Golden Chick has short yellow hair and yellow bird feathers covering certain parts of her body. She doesn’t have wings and still has functioning human hands, half of her legs are those of a bird and they are yellow too.
She has especially cute facial expressions and is always smiling, her eyes are grey.
