The Foolish Bird Dodo is a character in BLACKSOULS 2 you can find at the Pond of Bloody Tears. She’s a hyperactive humanoid dodo bird based on Dodo from the book “Alice in Wonderland” written by Lewis Carroll.

Dodo is one of the characters you can encounter right at the beginning of your playthrough.
Meeting Dodo
You can find Dodo at the Pond of Bloody Tears, jumping in a circle of animals running around her.
That’s most likely the first time you will see her in the game. She will be friendly towards you and her personality is very charming – after talking to her she will still continue to jump in a circle.
If you leave the area right after talking to her and come back, the animals will be gone and she’ll actually listen to what you’re saying.
Kill All Animals
If the animals are running around Dodo you can kill them all to get a unique interaction with her.
If you talk to Dodo after you kill all animals, she will instantly know you were the one who did it and then she will initiate a fight where she will be in her demonbeast form.
Dodo in this form is hard to defeat, and it’s best to avoid her in this state if you just started playing.
Fluffy Appears
Under certain conditions, if you come back to the area where Dodo is, the Fluffy Beast can appear and he will be racing around Dodo. She will be fascinated by how quick he is, as he is very fast.
After some time if you headpat him, he will get tired, and if you kill him Dodo will transform into her demonbeast form the next time you interact with her.
Relationship with Shisha
If you met Dodo already, Shisha will mention her in one of the interactions with her if you pursue a covenant with her. She will address Dodo as “Walghvoghel”, which is an original name for the animal dodo given by the Dutch. Shisha will tell you to tell Dodo that she should quit pestering her for her knowledge, and then she will continue to describe how stupid Dodo is.
When you go back to talk to Dodo about it she will say nice things about Shisha, saying how she’s smart but a little touchy.
Talking more to Dodo will get her to mention how today is a special day because it’s “our pairing anniversary”. So she will use this special occasion so you can go and meet Shisha, and then Dodo will run off to Shisha’s home. This is only possible if you max out both of their covenants.
When you reach Shisha’s home you will see Dodo and her conversing. Shisha will be surprised to see you, and Dodo will introduce both of you to each other and Shisha will be very jealous. She will get more and more jealous as Dodo starts to describe how deep the love between you two is, so they will argue for a bit until you get the option to choose between the two of them.
Shisha will be making “tempting motions” and a unique scene will be shown. If you choose Dodo over Shisha she will sulk for a little bit, but if you choose Shisha over Dodo, Dodo will go home crying, and the next time you talk to her she will be quite upset so you have to make up for being mean towards you, although Dodo will easily forgive you.
Duchess Eats Dodo
The Duchess will be quite mad when you meet her for the first time and you will have to bring her some meat and pepper to calm her down. If you don’t have meat, but have a covenant with Dodo, you can just bring her Dodo instead.
The Duchess will gladly accept Dodo, so she will kill her and eat her.
Covenant
When the animals who have been running around Dodo are gone, you’ll be able to have a normal conversation with her because she’ll also stop jumping.
This will also unlock the possibility of forming a covenant with her, which is one of the most useful covenants in the game. It will allow you to move incredibly fast if you level it up enough, and it will also increase your speed and raise your preemptive strike rate.
BS2’s map is significantly larger than the one in the first game, so you’ll have to travel a lot and the covenant with Dodo allows you to walk extremely fast. You can turn off and on this ability, and it makes the game much more fun to go through.
You don’t have to have her covenant equipped if you want to activate the skill to run fast.
If you level up her covenant you will be able to see the scene where you embrace her chest.
Personality
Dodo is a really cheerful and sweet character. Despite how weird and messed up Wonderland can be, she’s still quite happy and energetic. Dodo has cute mannerisms, and she’s one of those characters who you just can’t hate at all.
One of the most remarkable Dodo’s traits is her stupidity. She’s one of the dumbest characters in the game, and she’s very forgetful.
Design
Dodo is the thickest character in the game. She has unbelievable curves and a very big chest. Dodo’s thighs are also massive and this all makes her so attractive – it’s unreal. Dodo’s arms are literal wings, while her legs are giant bird legs.
Dodo is honestly the perfect monster girl, something anyone would wish for in his life. Her hair is short and light brown, and she’s undeniably cute.
