In this part of the recap movies, everything gets much clearer. Kyubey’s true function and identity are revealed just like Homura’s constant time leaping. As Walpurgisnacht starts appearing again, Madoka uses the power she garnered from building energy through all word lines and basically becomes God. She deletes all witches and Homura is the only one who can remember her.
