Tomoe Mami

Tomoe Mami is one of the main characters of Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika. Mami is a part of the five main magical girls in the anime, and she’s also the one to save Madoka and Sayaka from a witch during the first episode. She’s brave, protective, and very strong with a motherly-like attitude towards Madoka.

She’s one of the first magical girls you can see in the anime besides HomuraMami and Homura don’t really always get along too well, mostly because Homura is quite silent and reserved which makes Mami deem her as suspicious. Her main way of fighting is through muskets and ribbons – and all the ways she puts them to use are really cool and well done.

Appearance

While not in her magical girl attire Mami is wearing the classical school uniform other girls are seen wearing too. The difference in her uniform is her long black thigh-highs and her silver-colored elegant shoes. Her hairstyle is pretty unique too – the Ojou Ringlets really suit her a lot!

Mami’s magical girl outfit looks very elegant and classy. She’s wearing a white shirt with puffy sleeves and a brown corset – she also has a short yellow skirt, really cute leggings, and yellow-brown boots that almost reach her knees. Her hat is really cute and the outfit overall matches perfectly the weapons with which she fights.

Relations

Madoka and Sayaka – Mami has the best relationship with Madoka and Sayaka. When Homura was trying to kill Kyubey, Madoka was also present there and that’s how essentially they all met. Since Mami has the most experience out of the 2 as a magical girl, and since she’s overall pretty mature, Mami is an older sister figure to both Madoka and Sayaka. They admire her as a magical girl and want to get closer to her, even though they haven’t known each other for a long time.
