Akemi Homura is one of the main characters in the Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika anime series. She’s a magical girl who’s undercover as a mysterious transfer student who looks after Madoka while constantly attacking Kyubey to stop him from making Madoka become a magical girl.
Homura has a really protective character and she’s the most reserved girl in the show. She’s shy but smart, especially when it comes to combat situations where she can demonstrate her knowledge of how to wield all sorts of guns and other unconventional weapons for a magical girl.
Homura has the same school uniform as the other girls in Madoka, but the difference in hers is the dark thigh highs which really stand out and go well with her big luscious black hair. In some parts of the series you can see Homura with cutesy red glasses and kneesocks instead of thigh highs, during that form she also has her hair braided and divided into two sides.
Her magical girl form is the coolest out of all, at least in my opinion. Homura’s magical girl outfit resembles something that looks like a school uniform with all its colors faded away. She also gets long dark boots and the black, grey, and purple color palette she has comes to great expression during this form. I love Homura so much!
