Kyubey is an omnipotent magical cat from the Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika series. He’s the one who turns girls into magical girls by making contracts with them which have the ability to grant anything they wish for. Being a magical girl may seem easy and fun but it’s a much darker trade than it seems since you’re forced to fight really scary witches.
Witches can kill you and that’s not good. He’s essentially the Messenger of Magic but Homura likes to call him the Incubator. Whenever Kyubey tries to get Madoka to form a contract with him, Homura gets mad and interrupts their exchange as fast as she can.
Besides being a strange magical creature, Kyubey is also really cute and polite. He’s a strange cat with a big fluffy tail, red piercing eyes, and flying ear hoops around his weird ears. Honestly, I’d never mind him as a pet in my house as long as he looks well-behaved. Kyubey looks pretty soft despite being so powerful!
