Sakura Kyoko is one of the main characters of the Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika anime. She doesn’t attend school with Madoka, Sayaka, and the others but rather she’s just a magical girl who does whatever she wants in her free time. Her goals are quite simple, she’s looking to have fun while collecting Grief Seeds from witches she defeats.
Kyoko is more aggressive than the other girls and she has a kinda tomboyish feel to her personality – which is why the color red perfectly suits her. She’s always up for a fight and will never give up no matter what.

Appearance
Since Kyoko doesn’t go to school with others she’s almost never seen in the classic Madoka school outfit. Kyoko’s choice of clothing is casual, as she wears a dark teal hoodie that has an unzipped part at the bottom which reveals her midriff. She wears pretty short dark blue shorts and brown boots that go up to her knees.
Even though she likes keeping things casual, her magical girl outfit is pretty cool and unique. With her long hair tied by a black ribbon in a high ponytail, color-wise and proportion-wise it perfectly matches her sleeveless dark raspberryish dress that has a black corset underneath it. Below the corset, there are her short pink skirt and black thigh highs that have boots of the same color as her dress that go up to her knees.
Relations
Sayaka – During the first few episodes of the anime, Kyoko gets into a fight with Sayaka. Sayaka is angered by how Kyoko doesn’t actually care that much about acting like a magical girl and helping others, instead she’s only doing it for her own reasons.
Their two philosophies are completely different because Sayaka wants to help others while Kyoko has more fun things in mind to do. This entire situation almost makes Madoka use her wish to stop them from fighting but Homura steps in and stops Kyubey from making the exchange with Madoka.
