The Ugly Ducking is a fairytale in the first BLACKSOULS game that you can find in the Dungeon area located at Fort Ivern. The entrance to the Dungeon area is on the western side of Fort Ivern.
You will see the Ugly Duckling in the room with the coffins and he will approach you if he sees you.
Killing him will give you the Ugly Duckling fairytale.

The Ugly Duckling makes an appearance in BLACKSOULS 2 as a dream spirit you can summon for the fight against the Beast of Distraction.
The Beast of Distraction is located on the Dodgson Bridge.
Defeating the Beast of Distraction with the Ugly Duckling summoned will give you the Ugly Duckling fairytale.
