Smelter Beast is an optional boss you can fight in BLACKSOULS 2, in a hidden part of the Fuming Forest area. Smelter Beast is a strong boss and after you take a certain portion of his health he will be on fire and even more dangerous with his attacks.
To get to the Smelter Beast go to the Fuming Forest, and then go behind the lava waterfall from the left side and go into the woods, that’s where you can find him.
By killing him you will be able to open the iron chest behind him which has the Claymore weapon inside.
Chaos Dungeon
Smelter Beast appears in the Chaos Dungeon during Ashes Reignited. He can appear in the Boss Room in regular Chaos Dungeon levels once you defeat the Old King.
An iron warrior created on a whim by the Incandescent Demon King. As an army, they formed an iron wall clad in flames. Any land they would come upon would be turned into trampled fields of ash.
The Demon King was very satisfied with the ‘result’. However, a problem soon arose. Being a mass of iron, his iron army was inconvenient and far too heavy. He had to act before his own Garden would sink into the lava.
There was no place for the steel warriors after the war. The King abandoned the ‘bulky mess’ in a suitable forest. In grief and hatred, they turned into demonbeasts, but with their power unrecognized, in the end they sank into chaos.
