Puss in Boots is an enemy that appears in Ashes Reignited in the Chaos Dungeon in BLACKSOULS II. He can appear in the Boss Room in regular Chaos Dungeon levels once you defeat the Old King.
With a certain miller’s death, his three sons divided the inheritance: the mill, the donkey, and the cat.
“Once I’ve eaten the cat, there won’t be anything left,” grumbled the third son, and in a hurry the cat said: “Don’t even think of eating me. First, get me a pair of boots. Soon you’ll see how magnificent your cat is.”
Dubious, the son still decided to give the cat boots. Yet, the cat couldn’t even catch a rabbit, insulted the royal family, then tried and failed to steal equipment from peasants, which earned the son a great many beatings.
The patience of the disgraced third son reached its limit. “You useless cat. Even eating you isn’t worth it!” He said as he threw the cat into a bottomless bog.
Sinking with his legs in the boots, the cat grumbled: “As if I could do anything with these worthless boots. Now if I had an armor, then…” The cat’s last words vanished into the mud, and he quietly died.
