Hollowed Serpent is a boss in Red Hood’s Woods that appears in the Lake in Well area which is accessible during the later part of the game when Red Hood’s Home area enters a chaotic state.
By killing the serpent you will get the Bloody Carthus skill. You need to defeat it to progress further.
