Aladdin, the King of Desire is an enemy that appears in Ashes Reignited in the Chaos Dungeon in BLACKSOULS II. He can appear in the Boss Room in regular Chaos Dungeon levels once you defeat the Old King.
Aladdin, the King of Desire is possibly related to Mage Aladdin, a fairytale in the first BLACKSOULS game.
A mummy-like body is rolling down a dune. Unneeded ‘merchandise’ dropped by a slave trader. Leaving him in the middle of a desert, the trader straddled his camel and left him to die.
The glare of the sun is like needles for his dry brown skin. The tendons of his feet are torn, he can’t even stand. And yet, this mummy…this ‘boy’, wants to live.
Looking away from the dazzling radiance, he notices a glitter in the sand. Something metallic is buried just near him. Something the trader dropped?
――I can feel it calling me. Captivated by the mystical power, the boy crawled like a worm to reach it. Digging it out of the sand, he seized it with his hands. A lamp, it was a glittering golden lamp.
‘State your wish.’ Is he hearing voices? The lamp spoke to him. Not that it matters. The boy cleared his throat and said: ‘Water…pl…ea…se…..’
―Streaming, pooling, washing the dryness away. Bathing in an endless stream of water, the boy laughs. He had the worst life, but now his luck is the greatest. ‘All my desires will be sated. The lamp will make it so.’
