MoreVanillaTools is a Minecraft mod that adds plenty of new tools and weapons that can be crafted out of the simplest and most valuable Vanilla materials. For example, you can craft a Redstone Sword or a Fiery Pickaxe.

It’s interesting to see all kinds of tools that could realistically be added to Vanilla Minecraft.
Pickaxes of specific material will mine more of that material, and that’s why they’re particularly useful. The Obsidian Pickaxe which is a little bit harder to make increases the mining speed.
(It’s highly recommended to play this mod with Just Enough Items (JEI) – because this mod includes a lot of crafting recipes)
