Just Enough Items (JEI)

Just Enough Items, or JEI for short, is a Minecraft mod that allows you to easily view recipes and how the items can be used in the game. It’s a simple mod that doesn’t affect the performance at all while allowing you to be able to know everything you need to know about a certain item.

In the JEI inventory, by left-clicking on an item you can see the crafting recipe, and by right-clicking on an item you can see in which recipes the item is used.

You can also turn on the cheat mode and use it as a creative inventory. To enable the cheat mode press CTRL and the left mouse button while hovering over the wrench button in the bottom left corner.

You can search the items by the name of the mod they come from. To do this put @ and then the mod’s name into the search area.

This mod is really convenient and much better than Minecraft’s recipe book. I’d always have this in the game, especially if I’m downloading any other mods that have items and recipes I’m not familiar with.
