Jeanne d’Arc is one of the main characters in Mahou Shoujo Tart★Magica: The Legend of “Jeanne d’Arc” – an official Madoka manga spinoff that was released after the Rebellion movie. She’s made on the basis of the historical figure that goes by the same name – Joan of Arc. Her role is to defend France as a magical girl from England during the Hundred Years’ War, but many other unexpected things occur on her journey.
Jeanne in this spinoff is also called Tart.
She makes her appearance for the first time as a cameo during the 12th episode of Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica. Kyubey also makes an appearance with her in the spinoff manga, as he was still active even back then, trying to recruit girls for his magical girl business.
