This post serves as a guide for progression in SEQUEL awake – through this post, you can track your progress in the game and check how to do certain events.
Important dialogue for the story is placed in this post instead of being written over and over again in different character posts – the character posts mostly focus on the characters as individuals.

Beginning
The game starts with you in an unknown area, telling yourself to move on. If you try to go back, it will say: “…To save the world, you must move on ahead.”
So the only option you really have is to move on ahead.
Going further will lead to a mysterious room and a voice thanking you for coming.
The voice will ask you if you have no regrets, and then will go on to say how it will erase your very being from this world – ending the dialogue with: “May we meet again.”
The scene will change, and you will be woken up by Dire, someone you may know from SEQUEL blight.
Waking Up
The place where you and Dire are is a campfire somewhere in some woods. Dire will say that he was surprised when he saw you vacantly wandering around there, he’s wondering what you are doing in a place like that all by yourself.
You will be a little bit confused, and he will introduce himself to you again. He says that he met you there only a few moments earlier, and that when he asked for your name, you immediately collapsed.
Dire will say that even though you two don’t know each other at all, he says that there was no way he could just abandon you, so he waited for you to wake up. He will then ask if you can walk, saying that he saw some lights a short distance from there.
He will say that you can’t stay the night in this forest because monsters live there – their favorite prey is human males.
As you walk through the forest, Dire will be weirded out that you managed to not run into any monsters. He says that because you’re a being that can produce Mana (a male), that will always make you a target for monsters.
Dire will ask you if you know what Mana is. You can reject his explanation if you already know what it is and how it functions.
If you say “I don’t know” to Dire’s question if you know about Mana, he will say:
“So you don’t…normally that wouldn’t be possible. Because it’s impossible to live without coming to know know about Mana.”
“Listen. What we call Mana is the source of life. It is the most important resource, it is food and it is even medicine… It’s something everyone needs.”
“But in the modern era, there is a chronic shortage of Mana. Therefore living creatures always try to look for and obtain Mana. In any way possible.”
“There are three methods of obtaining Mana. First is finding natural sources of Mana. They are rare, but there are certain plants and such from which you can gain Mana.”
“The second method is through killing others. When a living creature dies, it leaves its power behind. It’s not a peaceful method…but it is a reliable one.”
“And the final method is you. Mana can be extracted from the body fluids of malesーespecially the semen of human men.”
“It’s possible to continuously gain Mana through this method, but that is not realistic. Because in the modern world there are exceedingly few men.”
“As for why there are so few… Explaining it would take too much time, so I’ll skip it. In any case, men are valuable beings.”
“Now you should understand. That this isn’t the time and the place to dawdle.”
You will then hear the voice of a monster, and Dire will warn you to move with caution.
As you proceed further, you will be cornered by some monsters, and Dire will step in the way to protect you from one of them. Then someone will call a person named Kuruha to come and help you, and she will help you fend off the monsters.
Kuruha will scold the monsters, and they will run away.
After that, Kuruha will talk to you and say how that was dangerous, and the other mysterious girl will say that it’s good no one was hurt.
If you say “Thanks”, Kuruha will tell you that you’re welcome and that now you can pay her back with your body. This will initiate a reaction from the other girl, telling her to stop saying things like that so suddenly, and then they will introduce themselves.
If you say “Who are you two?”, both of them will introduce themselves normally.
Two New Girls
The mysterious girl will introduce herself as Sheena Aphar, and Kuruha will introduce herself as Kuruha Talpa.
Kuruha will then ask what’s up with you, mentioning that you’re a human male. So you introduce yourself to Kuruha and Sheena and explain your circumstances to them – it seems like you have amnesia or something, so Sheena suggests that you should come to their house for now.
Kuruha will tell you to thank her for saving you while laughing devilishly. Sheena doesn’t seem to approve of this behavior, telling Kuruha that that’s the reason why everyone misunderstands her.
Kuruha’s house is in the northwest direction – you’ll be heading to it now.
When you go north, the monsters from earlier will ambush you, which will get you into a fight with them.
When you get close to the house, Kuruha will ask you if you’re hungry.
Sheena will offer to cook something, and her cooking seems to be quite good.
All of you will talk for a little bit, and after the dinner ends, you will be led to your room, where you can stay for the night – Kuruha will come along too. You will be very tired and almost instantly go to sleep. Kuruha will be a little bit disappointed, most likely because she couldn’t get hold of your Mana.
You won’t be able to sleep though – because you will be horny.
And Kuruha will notice your erection.
She’s still in the room – she pretended to leave the room and immediately came back.
Kuruha will tease you because you were about to masturbate.
And then all that will lead to an H scene.
Morning and Going Further
The next morning, Sheena will notice that Kuruha is quite happy, and Sheena will scold her because she keeps inviting more misunderstandings. Sheena will explain to you that Kuruha isn’t very well-liked by others. She says that Kuruha isn’t a bad girl but rather just a little bit too liberated.
Kuruha will make sure to ask you about the “cat-looking thing you’re taking good care of”, i.e. Dire. You explain to them who’s Dire, and Kuruha says that the monsters did him nasty, she says that she isn’t bad with machines or anything, but the damage doesn’t seem fixable.
But maybe Pirila could fix it.
So Kuruha will lead you to Pirila, who’s in the village called Matlor, southeast of their residence.
When you leave the house, Kuruha will give you a Stone of Returning, and you will be introduced to Transfer Swords again.
“While you control Kuruha when on an adventure outside the base, you control yourself when in the Remote Hideaway. During that time, it’s possible to deepen your relationship with your friends.”
“You can talk and socialize with your friends inside the base. Doing that may cause all kinds of conversation events to trigger.”
“By repeatedly socializing with a friend, their favorability and passion will rise. Raising them both might cause…good things to happen.”
“Some conversation events occur inside the base outside of talking with your friends. It’s a good idea to occasionally look around the base.”
“Socializing with your friends and triggering other conversation events cause time to pass. When time passes twice, night starts.”
“You may find conversation events that can only be triggered during the night. Please be on the lookout for them.”
“The second room from the right upstairs is your private room. In your room you can review various details and rest.”
“When you rest in your room, you can optionally choose to change the time. Please make use of it whenever you want night to start quickly.”
“Also, when you rest in your room, one of your friends may come to see you. Whether you go meet them or wait for them to visit you, the choice on how to socialize is yours.”
“This object is a device called a ‘Transfer Sword’. When you interact with a Transfer Sword, the whole party gets fully healed. You can also choose to warp.”
“Transfer Swords are dotted around in various places, and once you have interacted with one it becomes possible to warp to the location of that sword.”
“The more Transfer Swords you interact with, the easier traveling around becomes. When you find a Transfer Sword, make sure to interact with it at least once.”
