This post serves as a guide for all chapters in SEQUEL blight – through this post, you can track your progression and check how to do certain events.

Important dialogue for the story is placed in this post instead of being written over and over again in different character posts – the character posts mostly focus on the characters as individuals.

(this post is still WIP and is being expanded/updated)

Chapter 1

SEQUEL blight, Chapter 1

When the game starts, you will wake up in a mysterious room that looks like a part of some laboratory.

There’s no one around, and when you get out of the be,d you can go towards the door that leads out of the room, but there you will meet Rabi and her robot companion Dire, the two of them will lead you out of the facility and fight enemies that try to stop you.

SEQUEL blight, prologue, 1

When you leave the Abandoned Facility, you will be in Central Haven, which is the main city in SEQUEL blight.

In Rabi’s house, you will meet Uula, who needs your help because she will get in trouble for the Aurum Droid you and Rabi destroyed in the Abandoned Facility when it tried attacking you.

Uula works for the Aurum Company.

Meeting Uula, 1

You will have to go to the Miruess Garrison, and there you will meet Tirma, who’s a high ranking official of the Miruess Army, but also Rabi’s childhood friend.

Meeting Tirma, 1

When you come to the Haven’s Inn, you will hear the “imposter” mentioned for the first time, the imposter in question being Fake-Rabi. He is usually always in this inn, but today he’s not there – you will meet him soon enough, though.

After touring Central Haven, your next objective should be to go to the north of the town. By going north, you will pass through the Vaeltria Great Plains and eventually reach the Graveyard Outskirts, which you have to explore.

Rabi is scared of the graveyard

In the meantime, Uula will give you the Stone of Returning.

Stone of Returning is a product made by Aurum Company that Uula gives to you at the beginning of the game. This stone allows you to return to Central Haven by using it, so if you’re ever lost, you can easily go back home in an instant.

The stone uses the power of Mana – to use it, press “Q”.

Meeting a Succubus

The Graveyard Outskirts is darker than other areas, but the enemies aren’t too strong. Inside a building in there, you will find a hurt succubus, Nyxyryuuna, who Rabi will save by giving her a bit of Mana. She will be your new party member and will move into Rabi’s house later.

When you explore the Graveyard Outskirts further, you will reach another building that will lead to what seems to be a dead end. The small room will have a coffin that you can check out, but once you do that, the Fusion of Spectres will appear, and you will have to fight it.

The coffin in the graveyard outskirts

Defeating the Fusion of Spectres will open a hidden passage under the coffin.

This will lead to another part of the Graveyard Outskirts, and this is where Nyx will ask you to “teach her” where your Mana comes from. This whole ordeal leads to an H scene with her.

Cloudless Mountain Exploration

After going further, you will reach the Flooded Cave. Go through there, and you will be on the other side of the Vaeltria Great Plains that you can’t cross to otherwise, at least not for the time being.

By going through these areas, you will eventually reach the entrance to the Cloudless Mountain area.

The road to the mountain is blocked by a locked gate so you will go to the villagers to ask them to open it, but the village elder says that the gate has been closed off because there’s apparently a large monster deep in the mountain, and it’s also supposed to prevent people straying in.

The old man will open the door if you defeat the monster in the Old Storehouse, which is in the basement of the house where you talk to the village elder.

Reaching a certain point in the Old Storehouse will get you attacked by the Ancient Thing. After defeating him, Nyx will notice that the Gate Key is attached to his body, so now you will be able to unlock the gate that leads to the Cloudless Mountains.

Ancient Thing appeared

Acquired Gate Key

After you do all that, the village elder will be at the gate. Uula will ask why he is in front of the gate, and he will say that after you all went into the storehouse, some people from the Sage Group came, so he had to chase them away. The Sage Group came to the village, and the old man doesn’t really like them.

Nyx asks what the Sage Group is, and Rabi replies shortly with “A smart group of people.”, which is true though. But Uula corrects her by giving a much more detailed explanation.

According to Uula, the Sage Group is “one of the largest powers in Vaeltria. It is an organization of scholars and magicians”. Dire will then also add that along with the Aurum Company and the Miruess Army, they are called the “three great powers”.

Uula thinks they came here because they were searching something mana-related, but the old man drove them away. The Sage Group wanted to go through there by force, so he felt bad because it wouldn’t be fair to let some outsiders go ahead of you even though you had to go look for the key.

The Cloudless Mountain is a volcano, and inside it, there’s a lava zone. Inside the Blazing Cave, Nyx will sense Mana near, so you all will continue going further.

In a certain part of the Blazing Cave, you can unlock a shortcut that connects it with the beginning part of the Cloudless Mountain area.

Shortcut in the Blazing Cave, 1

Leaving the Cave

When you get out of the Blazing Cave, you will reach the Arctar Wasteland, and the sense of Mana being somewhere close will get stronger.

Uula realizes that you are located in the Arctar Wasteland upon inspecting a rock. If you ask her what Arctar is, she will say: “Arctar is a kind of rock. It is not usable as a material because it is so brittle it turns to sand from the slightest impact, but it does have the property of containing Mana easily. Incidentally, it might not look like it but this wasteland’s ground surface is extremely low. Vaeltria has large altitude differences, you see. Which also makes exploring quite difficult…”

Go to the western part of the Arctar Wasteland and head inside the building – this will lead you to the Stinky Swamp. It seems that the Mana they’re all looking for is located there. The Stinky Swamp is full of a poisonous liquid, so watch out for your health.

Leaving the Cave, 1

Leaving the Cave, 2

In the Stinky Swamp, head west, and then in the other part of the swamp, go up and then right because that will lead you to another part of the area where you can find an entrance to the cave next to a Transfer Sword.

That cave has something you can check out, but if you ignore that and just go even more up, you will reach the Arctar Ruins, which are behind a locked door.

When you check the thing Uula will wonder if that’s the monster the old man at the village was talking about, Dire will say that even though he said that it’s deep in the mountain, this is way deeper than he imagined and you all already went through the mountain – and that’s when a fight with the Impure King will start.

Leaving the Cave, 3

Impure King appeared

Killing him will give you the Immortal Mana.

Uula will be amazed by the finding, saying how it’s not just amazing but it could also be even “revolutionary”. All of you will quickly return to Central Haven because of this. This is where Chapter 1 ends.

Chapter 2

SEQUEL blight, Chapter 2

Chapter 2 starts with a conversation between you, Rabi, Dire, Uula, and Nyx in Rabi’s house. The thing you will be discussing is the thing you found in the Stinky Swamp – Immortal Mana.

Immortal Mana is something that produces Mana infinitely. It’s capable of doing that, although the pace at which it produces Mana is very slow for now.

Beggining of the Chapter 2, meeting, 1

Everyone is amazed by it, and Uula is eager to take it back to Aurum Company so that it can be examined further, but Dire will be against it because it’s dangerous to let an influential organization monopolize something like that.

Nyx will then ask if she could have it, and Rabi will say how that’d be the safest option because no one could abuse it. Uula wants to use it, but Dire thinks that this finding should remain a secret. Tirma will then barge into the room, and you will be unexpectedly handed the Immortal Mana to hide it.

Tirma will then come in, and she will notice that Uula is quite nervous. She will say that she has no intention of randomly prying into whatever you’re all hiding, and then Tirma will take notice of Nyx, and there they will get introduced to one another. Tirma doesn’t mind that Nyx is a monster – she trusts Rabi’s judgment.

Beggining of the Chapter 2, meeting, 2

Tirma is visiting with a request,  so she’s curious if you can all hear her out – Tirma’s requests are quite rare, and it’s something Rabi would usually come around and do.

Tirma says that she’d like you to accompany her to participate in an event hosted by the Sage Group. Some kind of event will be hosted at the Great Arena to the south of Central Haven – it’s not clear yet what this event is exactly.

Beggining of the Chapter 2, meeting, 3

Uula will ask if this is a request from the Miruess Army or Tirma as a civilian. Tirma will say that it’s a request from the army, remarking that they highly value Rabi’s strength. Rabi will be happy to hear that and remark “I was praised”, but Dire will butt in with “Wrong. She means they’re keeping an eye on you. This is why you didn’t want to stand out.”

Beggining of the Chapter 2, meeting, 4

The Miruess Army is worried about the activities of the Sage Group because they might be scheming something. It seems like they may have been searching for the Immortal Mana.

Beggining of the Chapter 2, meeting, 5

Tirma wants to participate in the event to investigate their real intentions, so she’s asking for your assistance. All will agree, and Tirma will join the party.

Dire will remark that it seems that the Miruess Army doesn’t want to be in direct contact with the Sage Group themselves, so they’re using a third party for the investigation.

Rabi will be more than happy to help out Tirma, and Uula will be coming with you all as well. Your first destination will be the Travelers’ Reststop. Tirma wants to head there to gather information about the event.

Gathering Information

Rabi will remark how there’s a lot of people at the Travelers’ Reststop once you get there. Tirma will say that they must also be participants in the event even though there wasn’t a conspicuous announcement for it. Dire is also interested in that piece of information, he’s wondering if the advertisement has been too scarce for hosting something.

You will then have to ask a few people around about the Sage Group.

From talking to the Beautiful Swordswoman, you will learn that the event is a contest of strength.

The Proprietor will say that if you want to participate, you should spend the night at the rest stop.

The Catlike girl seems to be drunk, but she will reveal that the event’s reward is not exactly clear, and then she will go on to offer you some kind of sweet drink that has a sugary smell but doesn’t look like alcohol. Nyx seemed to know what the thing was, and Uula tried the drink herself – which will have her feel not too good.

This will lead to an interaction with Uula and an H scene with her.

The next morning, Rabi will be glad that Uula is feeling better now.

The event will be starting soon so Tirma will say that it would be good to head to the Great Arena now so that you don’t be late.

Uula will thank you for yesterday, and Nyx will tease her by asking if it felt good. She is worrying about what if Nyx saw anything, but she will say that she didn’t, rather the drink had an ingredient from a succubus so that’s how she knew that it was an aphrodisiac.

Uula exposed

The Great Arena Competition

To get to the Great Arena, just head out of the Travelers’ Reststop through the exit on the western part of the building.

When you get out of the rest stop, Nyx will point at some thick bushes, telling you to go there. The Great Arena isn’t there, but rather, she wants some alone time with you – if you go to one of the buses, you can activate an H scene with Nyx.

Nyx is naughty

The Great Arena isn’t too far away from the rest stop. A Sage Group member will let you into the arena so you can participate, and this is where you will see the Old Witch Gemina for the first time. Tirma wonders if she’s the host.

Tirma wonders if Gemina is the host

Gemina will check others’ strength by summoning a magical beast called Phalmid, and instead of fighting one another, you will all have to fight the Magical Beast Phalmid instead.

Gemina is about to summon Phalmid

Magical Beast Phalmid appeared, arena

The beast will beat all of you, and Gemina will remark she didn’t find anyone who ought to be a child of the Ancestor.

Sage Group members will come to take all of you away, one of them will draw Gemina’s attention to you, and she will make a weird remark.

Gemina will say: “Fool. Had you just stayed in town with Rabi Alnea, good things would… Hm?”. And then Gemina will take the Immortal Mana from you, and you all will be sent to a prison location.

Underground Prison

After the Sage Group members take you away, you will see Rabi and Uula by you, wondering if you’re awake. Dire, Nyx, and Tirma are somewhere else, and Uula will draw attention to how the Immortal Mana was stolen.

Imprisoned, 1

The Stone of Returning will not work while you’re in the prison area, and whenever you get defeated in a battle, you will be sent back to the Prison of Losers.

It’s quite dark in the Prison of Losers, so it may be a little bit difficult to navigate through it, and there’s also plenty of locked doors.

Rabi can luckily kick the doors and allow you to explore the area further. You will find other adventurers and, quickly enough the rest of the party – the others will discuss what the Sage Group’s intentions may be and why they put everyone in a prison instead of killing them instead, questioning why would they do such stuff to even the members of the Aurum Company and Miruess Army.

Imprisoned, 2

This is when the Immortal Mana is brought up and its disappearance, which leads to Tirma finding out about it.

There’s an Aurum Company member in the Prison of Losers who can sell you items, weapons, armor, accessories, and restoration services.

At one point, you will have an altercation with Gemina inside the Prison of Losers area, and she doesn’t want to return the Immortal Mana she stole from you. Gemina doesn’t want to fight you herself, so she will summon the Sage Group’s Magicians to take care of you instead.

Stumbling upon Gemina, 1

Stumbling upon Gemina, 2

After this fight is over, you will be able to finally leave the prison.

Nyx says that Gemina probably returned to the Great Arena because she can somehow feel the Immortal Mana’s presence. The influence of the Sage Group’s magic will be gone, and you will be able to use the Stone of Returning.

Return to the Great Arena

When you leave the Prison of Losers, you should head back to the Great Arena.

Nyx will confirm that the Immortal Mana is still at the Great Arena. They’re not sure what to do with the monster or how to get the Immortal Mana back, so Nyx suggests taking the Mana without fighting, and Dire says that her plan is probably the most realistic.

Nyx's amazing plan

You all agree to search for a “helpful device” in the Great Arena to avoid a direct confrontation with Phalmid.

Exploring the Great Arena will eventually lead you to a library where you can read about a fire-throwing device in a stone statue on the right side of the venue where Phalmid is. The device is supposed to be used to stir up the crowd before the participants enter the arena, but it can also be abused.

Advice for defeating Phalmid

Activating the fire-throwing device will throw fire at both Gemina and Phalmid, who are still in the middle of the arena.

Flick it

All that’s left now is to fight Gemina.

Winning the fight won’t do much damage to Gemina. She will say how she should’ve been your opponent for a while longer, but her “job” there is already done, so she will run away.

Tirma was taken back by her strength, saying how her running away was probably a good thing.

Nyx can’t feel any signs of the Immortal Mana, and you all head back to Central Haven to think things through, ending Chapter 2.

Chapter 3

Chapter 3, start, 1

Chapter 3 starts in Rabi’s Office in Haven. You, Rabi, Dire, Nyx, Uula, and Tirma will be sitting at the table in the living room. Everyone will seem to be quite upset due to how the situation proceeded to develop – especially because the Immortal Mana was stolen almost right after they found it.

Chapter 3, start, 2

Tirma will apologize, saying how all of this was her fault, but Rabi will tell her not to blame herself. Dire will also butt in saying that it was on the army’s orders so she shouldn’t feel responsible in that case, Tirma will confirm that it was on the army’s orders but the orders aren’t absolute.

Uula will be intrigued by that because she thought that the Miruess Army orders were way more strict. Tirma will say how the current “gold” is flexible, which is the nickname for a Miruess Amry rank – the army is divided into unranked, bronze, silver, and gold-ranked members. Uula will also mention the “in-name-only” marshal and say how they’re rarely seen, so Tirma will call her rude and say that the marshal is a noble person.

Chapter 3, start, 3

For reference, Tirma is silver.

Chapter 3, start, 4

They will talk a little bit about that, and Uula will tell Tirma that she seems like the type that dwells on her failures a lot.

Chapter 3, start, 5

Tirma’s superior is named Lione.

Rabi will say that Lione must be amazing, and Tirma will reply with “Very much unlike me”. Nyx will try comforting Tirma and Uula will ask what to do next.

Chapter 3, start, 6

Rabi will ask if the Sage Group has a base, and Tirma will say that they don’t have a particular headquarters, so their whereabouts are unknown. Uula won’t understand how they work so well with that concept in their group. No one seems to know where the Sage Group’s base is.

Since the situation is uncertain, Tirma will report everything to Commander Lione, her superior, the army’s gold. She will tell Uula to do the same in the Aurum Company because if both organizations turn against the Sage Group, the Sage Group will find it hard to act.

However, Uula’s rank in her organization is significantly lower than that of Tirma’s in hers.

Tirma wants to make her report first, so she’s calling everyone to come along for that.

Head to the Miruess Garrison to progress further.

Chapter 3, start, 8

Introduction to the Miruess HQ

You will see Tirma at her usual place when you come to the Miruess Garrison.

If you’re ready to go, all of you will take Tirma’s hand, and she will use a special Stone of Returning.

Tirma will tell Rabi to touch the Transfer Sword, and Uula will be a little bit worried about that because Rabi is still an outsider. Tirma says that that Transfer Sword has a special feature that can reject the warp from this side.

Introduction to the Miruess HQ, 1

Nyx and Rabi will want to look around a little bit before going to the commander.

Before going to the command center, tour the Miruess Army HQ. From the tour, you will learn more about the Miruess Army, and you can hear a bit of small talk from the characters.

Eventually, you will go into the room where Tirma usually lives, but all of a sudden, it seemed like the lock malfunctioned. Rabi and the others were outside, so Tirma concluded that it’d be best to wait for them to go fetch someone from the army.

Introduction to the Miruess HQ, 3

You and Tirma will be alone – the two of you will talk about Rabi, and that talk will eventually lead to an H scene.

After all that’s over, the door will finally be open, and their sudden appearance will unexpectedly startle Tirma, which Nyx points out.

They asked someone from the army to take a look at the malfunctioning door, and they said that such things happen. Tirma will swiftly try to shift away from the topic and, while flustered, will stop anyone from talking about her strange behavior any further.

After the “introduction to the HQ” is over, the time to visit Commander Lione will come.

Introduction to the Miruess HQ, 4

The Report

When you go to the command room, you will be able to see Lione for the first time. She will have her back turned away from you, and there will be another soldier in the room as well.

Tirma will tell Lione that she has returned, and Lione will happily welcome Tirma back. Uula and Rabi will be surprised by the commander’s demeanor because she’s way more laid back than they expected a commander of the Miruess Army to be.

Tirma's report, 1

Lione will ask if the others are the people she mentioned, and Tirma will state how she has something major to report.

The scene will cut to Tirma telling Lione how they need to be more cautious towards the Sage Group than they’ve been until now and that there’s a possibility they’ll be hostile in the future.

Tirma's report, 2

Tirma will then mention that they obtained a substance known as the Immortal Mana, but Lione will not believe so easily that there’s a substance that is an infinite source of Mana, even though Rabi and Nyx confirm so.

Tirma's report, 3

Lione would like to avoid a conflict with the Sage Group to the very utmost, so she will for now discuss that issue with the marshal (“Zion-sama”).

Tirma's report, 4

Tirma will thank Lione, and she will tell Tirma that she shouldn’t get her hopes up because they aren’t going to act rashly.

You will leave the command room with the rest of the group, and Uula will immediately remark how the Miruess Amry is unreliable. Nyx will agree with Uula, and Tirma will say that she’s very sorry, but it’s just like the commander said.

Dire will mention how the Miruess Army is receiving support from the Sage Group, and Tirma will confirm that, saying that they play an important role in many of their operations.

Tirma's report, 5

Rabi will ask what kind of operations the Miruess Army does, and Tirma will say that it maintains public order. She will say that Vaeltria has no rule of law, so without the Miruess Army, it would turn into a completely lawless zone.

Tirma's report, 6

Uula will say that the number of people selfishly doing what they want would increase without the Miruess Army around. Dire will say that you can’t respect them in all aspects, though they’re an important organization.

Nyx will ask if they protect peace with the Sage Group, but Tirma will say that they only receive their help for what they do, citing an example that many machines in the headquarters come from the Sage Group.

Nyx will then mention Uula, who will be confused. Uula was also supposed to ask a “big-wig” in her organization, just like Tirma did. Uula will say that she isn’t in a position to do that, and she will be very nervous all of a sudden, but even Tirma will ask for Uula’s help because the Miruess Army won’t easily act against the Sage Group.

Uula will say that she understands and that she will give it a shot, but that you all shouldn’t expect much because nothing will probably come out of it.

Tirma's report, 7

Back in Haven

After the visit to the Miruess Army HQ ends, you will be back in Rabi’s Office in Haven, and Rabi will ask Uula how it went. Uula will immediately say that the results were unfortunate and even though they heard her out, the “upper brass” have ties to the Sage Group, so it has a similar reason as the Miruess Army.

New Mana Search, 1

It looks like everyone, or at least most people and organizations, are dependent on the Sage Group, and the people of Vaeltria have a fundamentally good impression of them.

So since there’s nothing to be done about the current situation, Rabi proposes to leave the Sage Group be for now and to look for Mana again. She says that they’ll maybe show up again if they do that, and Dire will mention how now you’ve got a living Mana sensor, so it’s easier to find Mana.

New Mana Search, 2

That will be the main objective now, so Dire will ask Nyx if she happens to know any places that seem like they could have Mana, and she will say that she felt something when they were at the Miruess Army HQ.

Tirma wants to accompany you until the problem with the Sage Group is settled, and Uula wants to do so too.

New Mana Search

When you come back to the Miruess Army HQ (which Rabi refers to as the “Miruess house”).

New Mana Search, 3

New Mana Search, 4

Nyx will feel something from southeast of where they are, which means she feels something at the Alzira Corrupted Mines.

New Mana Search, 5

The official entrance to the Alzira Corrupted Mines is blocked, and it’s a danger zone, although it’s possible to get in. It seems like Rabi would like to kick down the door of the official entrance, but Tirma says that it’s not that she isn’t allowed – it’s that it’s not the type of door that opens when kicked, and the elevator’s not running in the first place.

To get closer to the mine, Tirma suggests going south and through the Old Military Base.

New Mana Search, 6

The area isn’t that big, and exploring doesn’t take too much time. You will quickly enough find a Transfer Sword and right below it an exit to the Harsh Outcrops.

Nyx senses something east of them, and that leads straight to the corrupted mine if you go by the wall (it’s really close). Tirma will take this opportunity to mention how if you go west, you will eventually reach Haven, although the monsters on the way can be tough.

New Mana Search, 7

If you go east, you will reach the Labor Facility of the corrupted mines. A long time ago slaves were forced to work there so they must’ve been mining ore – they will talk a little bit about slaves so Tirma will say that if they still exist, they will be liberated, only for Uula to butt in and say how she thinks the Miruess Army would be the type of organization to own slaves.

Tirma will then question Uula’s impression of the Miruess Army because she always associates them with evil things.

New Mana Search, 8

Dire will say how he doesn’t trust particular organizations either, but Uula really hates the Miruess Army. Uula will say how they’re rude and they often say things like “get outta the way, kid”. Tirma will ask Uula if she got in the way of someone’s work, and Uula will say that she didn’t and that she isn’t even a kid in the first place.

New Mana Search, 9

Rabi will draw attention to the fact that Uula is tiny, and Tirma will apologize for the thing that happened to Uula.

You will be required to explore the area if you want to progress further. There are plenty of enemies that are hard to avoid, and they can be troublesome to deal with, but it shouldn’t be difficult to find an exit to the Alzira Corrupted Mines.

As soon as you enter the area, you will hear a monster roar, and Nyx will sense a strong scent of mana. You should explore the area until you find a Transfer Sword and an exit that leads to another part of the mines where the mysterious beast will roar again. Uula is scared, but Rabi will tease her.

Eventually, you will reach a red flight of stairs that leads even more down into the area, and then the Slave Giant will attack all of you. After you defeat it, Uula will say that it turned out not to be such a big deal after having fought it.

Nyx will feel something deeper underground, but even Tirma doesn’t know what’s down there.

The City of Iron

Going even further down will lead you to the City of Iron – the floors and walls are made out of metal.

New Mana Search, 10

There are scattered robots throughout the City of Iron that aren’t too functional, but interacting with them will reveal a number and its position in a certain password you have to type in a certain part of the area.

A certain part of the area has a control panel of the Defense System, which is currently activated and preventing you from reaching important parts of the area for progressing further.

Whenever you fail at entering the code, you will get into a fight with the Old Army enemies as sort of a countermeasure against intruders.

If you don’t want to search for those numbers yourself, you can click on the “Show Secret Code” thing to see the numbers and their correct order.

Show Secret Code

The first number is 2.

The second number is 8.

The third number is 7.

The fourth number is 3.

The fifth number is 1.

[collapse]

This will allow you to go further in the area because now the lasers you may have noticed in one part of the area are gone. Going deeper into the City of Iron will bring you to the Electromagnetic Basin, but there will also be something shining in a hole in the wall.

The Immortal Mana, Again

You will find the Immortal Mana in the hole in the wall, and Gemina will show up again.

The Immortal Mana, again, 1

Everyone will be surprised, but Gemina will say that there’s nothing the Sage Group doesn’t know and that they’re always watching your movements. She tells you to hand over that Immortal Mana, which makes Tirma conclude that this isn’t the Immortal Mana from earlier that Gemina stole.

There isn’t just one Immortal Mana, there are more of them. Gemina wants you to handle the Immortal Mana obediently because she would rather “avoid murdering people who can be pawns”.

The Immortal Mana, again, 2

But before you can even do anything, Lione will come in saying how that won’t be necessary. She will then go down the stairs with two of the Miruess Army soldiers and tell Gemina that she shouldn’t take other people’s things. Gemina won’t fight and will just leave in her usual manner, and Lione will approach you all, asking if you’re all unhurt.

The Immortal Mana, again, 3

Uula will say that it’s all thanks to her that they’re safe, and she will ask why Lione even came here, and Lione will say that it seemed kinda fun so she chased after you. Rabi will be surprised but Tirma will say that the commander’s got both good intuition and wisdom, so naturally she must’ve been worried for their safety.

The Immortal Mana, again, 4

Lione will just laugh cutely to Tirma’s remark.

Then she will suggest going back to the Miruess Army HQ, and then it will cut to a scene in there.

Lione will start by saying that after seeing them like that on the scene of the crime, there’s no way they can stay defenseless against the Sage Group. Tirma will add that they may have some sort of a plan and that collecting the Immortal Mana must be a part of it.

The Immortal Mana, again, 5

Lione will be a bit surprised that the Immortal Mana is real, so she will apologize for not believing them and being distrustful. She’s interested in the actions of the Sage Group, but she also says there’s just one problem.

And the problem is that Zion (the marshal) said to let the Sage Group keep doing what they’re doing. Lione will try to talk things out later though.

The Immortal Mana, again, 6

The others will start arguing about who should keep the Immortal Mana and take care of its safety. In the end, everyone will agree to let the Miruess Army keep the Immortal Mana, at least for the time being, just because of how Gemina is watching everything and the fact that she can even teleport.

telegranny

Rabi laughing

Chapter 4

Chapter 4 starts in Rabi’s Office in Central Haven, just like always. All of you will be having a conversation, and Rabi seems happy about a future adventure all of you may go on.

Tirma understands Rabi’s excitement because the situation has considerably improved.

Rabi will be happy because they got a new “strong friend”, and Nyx likes the commander as well. Dire will butt in the conversation and say that Gemina saw through their actions and that she may even be watching all of them at this very moment.

Uula agrees with Dire because Gemina appeared as soon as they found the Immortal Mana. Nyx will then ask if Gemina was watching her “slurp-slurp” you, and this statement will shock Rabi, Uula, and even Tirma it seems.

But Dire interrupts them and says that they’ve got more important matters, continuing by saying how their actions being predicted is perhaps related to you and Nyx.

Dire says that Gemina glanced at you and Nyx when she said that she was watching all of your movements. Dire will say that after all, you were found in a facility of the Sage Group, so it’s possible they did something to you, and your memories are quite unclear as well.

Slurp slurp, 4

Nyx was imprisoned and she also has unclear memories, so it’s possible that the Sage Group did something to her too.

This makes everyone uneasy because the Sage Group may be watching them even now.

Tirma is wondering what to do now considering everything, so Dire suggests searching the Abandoned Facility again. And that’s what your next objective is.

Back to the Abandoned Facility

When you come back to the Abandoned Facility go to the right until you see a computer interface you can use. No one will really know what to do except Tirma and she will do something on it that opens up a secret stairway in the same room.

Back to the Abandoned Facility, 1

The stairway leads to another part of the facility where you can encounter enemies, but if you explore it even further, you will soon enough find another stairway that leads to a deeper layer.

On that layer, you can find an elevator that brings you back to the top, and two more rooms, one with more computers and such (that is locked) and another one with a stairway that leads further down. Through there, you will reach the locked room, and then you can open the door that can be only opened from one side.

Interact with the computer, and the story will progress.

Tirma will look through the computer and say that she wasn’t able to find anything of use on there. She will then start talking to Dire after a bit, and then you will have to go away from them so you don’t hear anything, just in case the Sage Group really is spying through you.

Back to the Abandoned Facility, 2

After that happens, Tirma proposes to go on a walk to Rainy Reiwano, a town where monsters live, and that’s what your next objective will be.

Through Reiwano

Rainy Reiwano is east of the Cloudy Highway. Tirma will unlock the door that leads to it.

Reiwano is under the army’s control, so that’s why she has the key.

When you enter Reiwano, Tirma will receive a phone call (her ringtone is diabolical) from Lione. She will tell Tirma that Gemina is currently at the Aurum Company, so even if the Sage Group is observing all of you, the chance of Gemina appearing is low.

Through Reiwano, 1

Through Reiwano, 2

Tirma will say that she obtained information related to a laboratory of the Sage Group while all of you were in the Abandoned Facility. Uula will butt in to say how she suspected something like that because she thought it’s weird to suddenly start talking about going for a walk.

Pretty-shi from the Aurum Company verified Gemina’s whereabouts.

So in hopes of more investigating and cutting off the constant surveillance, all of you will now head to the laboratory.

The laboratory is to the south, it’s apparently very far, and first you have to go through the Stitchriver to the south of Reiwano, and then you will arrive at a plateau.

Through Reiwano, 3

Heading south will lead you to the Stormy Plateau.

There’s an old mansion close to the plateau, so it should be possible to get to the laboratory by going through it. Rabi and Nyx don’t really like the rainy weather. The Stormy Plateau has some monsters you should look out for, they can get in the way.

When you reach the mansion there will be a locked door that Rabi will try to kick down like always, but she will fail. So you will have to go around through a cave which’s entrance is next to the mansion. There will be a crack in the wall and Rabi will kick it and widen it so you all can enter the cave.

The cave is very dark and it’s full of bugs, and this is where it’s revealed that Tirma has a significant fear of bugs, which throw her out of her usual calmness that she has – she is seriously frightened by the amount of bugs in this cave.

Tirma is scared of bugs, 1

Tirma is scared of bugs, 2

The cave is also full of annoying bug enemies that are hard to avoid.

It’s hard to navigate through the cave because of how dark it is.

The dark cave will lead you out into the Garbage Dump – all that’s left to do is to climb up the Garbage Dump, and you will arrive inside the Cadena’s Mansion.

Cadena’s Mansion is swarming with enemies, but especially be careful of the Cadena’s Eldritch One. You will have to fight him if you want to progress further because he will charge right at you if you try to go through a certain exit in the mansion.

Cadena's Eldritch One appeared

The Mana Laboratory and the Scientist Girl

When you defeat the Cadena’s Eldritch One and leave the mansion, you will be in the Bewitching Flower Garden, and there you will be able to find an elevator that leads down underground to the laboratory.

Nyx isn’t too fond of that place – she recognizes it. Dire will make sure to warn Rabi to not kick closed doors if she finds them down there – it would be bad if she were found.

The Mana Laboratory and the Scientist Girl, 1

After exploring the laboratory, you will eventually reach an office with a girl with purple hair you have never met before.

Before you can hide or anything like that the girl will notice your intrusion, and she will come up closer to examine you all. After thinking for a little bit, she will say “Ra-Rabi Alnea and her friends…!?” and she will seem scared of you all.

The Mana Laboratory and the Scientist Girl, 2

So Tirma will come closer to her to intimidate her, warning her to stay calm unless she wants to get hurt. The girl is scared and tries to get away, but she can’t go anywhere, and Tirma just continues to push her on. She forces the girl to lock the door so no one can intrude.

The Mana Laboratory and the Scientist Girl, 3

The topic of Sage Group’s surveillance will be brought up but the girl will say that the surveillance doesn’t reach there so it’s okay. And now the girl is forced to listen to Tirma and her orders.

The girl will recognize you for some reason and she will say her name is Chemica, asking you if you remember her. She even calls you by your name.

The Mana Laboratory and the Scientist Girl, 4

Dire will mention that you’re an amnesiac and she will be a bit confused, saying how it must be a side effect of the experiments. Rabi will ask if you and she were friends, and Chemica will say that you were lovers and that you were “all lovey-dovey”, all while laughing silently.

The Mana Laboratory and the Scientist Girl, 5

Chemica will say that you always greeted her, that you were always considerate towards her, and that you were telling her things like “you should take a break once in a while”.

The Mana Laboratory and the Scientist Girl, 6

Tirma will ask which part of all that makes the two of you lovers, so Chemica will say that every single part does. Chemica will say it’s mutual love and you two were completely like lovers, she says it was the first time anyone treated her so kindly.

Tirma will ask what the experiments were about, so Chemica will say that they were about increasing the number of men. She says that to investigate the problem of the Mana affinity of men, they did a lot of touching. The experiments went poorly though, so they had to stop them after even the monsters in the facility grew incredibly violent.

There were plans for retrieval and a second attempt, but Rabi dragged you out, so nothing could’ve been done. Rabi will then ask to confirm that if she hadn’t met you, then you would’ve been kidnapped again by the Sage Group. Dire will wonder why you weren’t taken back at the Great Arena.

Chemica will say that the situation changed, so they prioritized keeping track of your activities – they were watching everything through you.

Tirma will tell Chemica to stop the surveillence but she says that she doesn’t have the right ingredients to cancel a “scientific spell” that you’re under. So to cancel it a special medicine is needed. She says that they should return you to her if they don’t want to be watched anymore.

Since only the ingredients are needed for this ordeal, Tirma will push out the information out of Chemica, and she will say what’s needed to cancel the spell.

Chemica will be at the entrance of the Bewitching Flower Garden. She will assist you in gathering the materials for the cancellation of the surveillance spell.

Chemica Conclusion

When you come out of the Mana Laboratory, you will notice Chemica outside, and there you will have to talk to her. Even though she could’ve escaped, she will be there waiting for you, and Tirma will tell her that she’s outstanding, to which Chemica will say that no one in the Sage Group understands how outstanding she is, all while seeming kinda sad.

Chemica Conclusion, 1

Go up and then go right, talk to Chemica, head north, and get into the building. In one of the rooms you will find Chemica and she will say that she already harvested the ingredients. She will say that she wants to go back to the laboratory and mix the medicine, but before she can one of the plants will start wriggling.

Chemica Conclusion, 2

Chemica Conclusion, 3

This will get you into a fight with the Mutated Plant Tentacle.

Mutated Plant Tentacle appeared

After defeating the enemy, go back to the Mana Laboratory, Chemica’s office, to be specific.

You will drink the medicine, and the surveillance will supposedly be done with.

But, all of a sudden, Nyx will ask Chemica if she knows her. She will ask if the Sage Group did anything to her, and Chemica will tell Nyx that she’s an artificially born succubus. Chemica doesn’t know the exact details, though, as she wasn’t involved. She says that succubi are sensitive to Mana, so it was thought they could be used for something.

Nyx was in Graveyard Outskirts because she was disposed of as all the artificial lifeforms had had a poor Mana efficiency, and it looks like she survived that.

All this information will make Nyx depressed because she was supposedly “unnecessary”. Rabi will intervene and proclaim that she think it was good that she met all of them, because that way you all became such close friends with Nyx. Rabi tells Nyx that she is necessary for her, and Nyx will cry a little bit, but she will say that she’s not crying but rather smiling.

After all that, Uula will ask Chemica if she will be all right after this because her actions caused a great deal of harm to the Sage Group. Chemica says that they won’t look for her, so it doesn’t really matter to her. She wants to keep cooperating with all of you because she never really liked the organization from the start. She just got in because they let her do whatever research she liked.

Chemica will become one of your friends.

And then Tirma will get a call, the army needs her for something.

This is where Chapter 4 ends, as everyone goes their own way.

Chemica Conclusion, 7

Chapter 5

SEQUEL blight, Chapter 5

Like almost every other chapter, this one starts with everyone gathered at the living room table in Rabi’s Office.

Tirma has returned from her visit to the military, she was present for a strategy meeting for what the Miruess Army will do next. She can’t share the exact details of the meeting, but it wasn’t about the Sage Group.

Something is going on with the marshal though – he won’t show up, and some people in the army are becoming irritated. There’s nothing new on the Sage Group, but there are some new details about the Immortal Mana.

It’s still under investigation, but Immortal Mana is likely a hazardous substance. The Mana it emits is a little bit different than the one it usually emits – rather than life force, it’s closer to magical power.

Chapter 5 start, 2

Dire will wonder if there’s actually no such thing as an infinite life source. Uula will call Tirma out, saying how the Miruess Army is lying so they can monopolize the Immortal Mana. She thinks the marshal is shady, but she trusts Tirma. Tirma will say that she didn’t lie though.

Chapter 5 start, 3

Rabi will ask if the Immortal Mana really is dangerous, then maybe they shouldn’t search for it anymore. Nyx wants to continue searching, and Tirma says that Lione requests that they continue searching for more Immortal Mana instead of stopping.

There is a possibility of even more Immortal Manas out there. Tirma says that the commander wants to have them completely destroyed.

Rabi is alright with all that, and because the Sage Group can’t watch anymore, she’s up for getting back to searching some more.

The meeting will end here, and Tirma will remark how it seems the Immortal Mana is found at low altitudes, and Uula will agree with her. Tirma now wants to go to the “preposterously deep pit in the cellar of Cadena’s Mansion, because that’s one of the lowest points she can think of.

Chapter 5 start, 4

Cold Places and a Surprise

After that, head to Cadena’s Mansion and go to the Garbage Dump, and then you will have to go climb down until you reach the bottom of the area, where a Transfer Sword can be found.

There will be a door that leads to the Dense Forest.

Garbage Dump, 1

Garbage Dump, 2

Rabi will remark that it’s cold, and Nyx and Uula will panic too, as they wear quite revealing clothing. Uula will poke Rabi’s belly button because it’s a little bit exposed, and then everyone will want to poke Rabi’s belly button, but Dire will stop them, saying that it’s time to go.

Flustered Rabi

Eventually, you will reach the Snow-Plains. It’s even colder there and Nyx feels a little Mana response, she thinks they will probably find it if they keep going.

You will then be given an option to take the coat you’re wearing and put it on someone.

Give your coat to someone

Going further will lead you to a large snowy field and Tirma will call out the fact there are tracks of someone having traveled through there recently.

The Snow-Plains area is quite big, and it’s easy to navigate through it. It’s hard to get lost, and eventually you will stumble upon the Cliffs of Rejection.

You will have to climb them, and it can be a bit tricky to do so, on them you can find the Icebreaker.

Cliffs of Rejection info

When you climb up the Cliffs of Rejections, it turns out you’re not feeling too well and that you have a fever. Uula can’t find the Stone of Returning, so you all go to the cabin a bit farther ahead, and that’s where you will wake up.

You will have a short conversation with the character you gave your coat to.

After a bit of rest, the adventure will continue.

Waking up in the cabin

Going north will lead you to an entrance to the Freezing Mountain.

If you head northwest, you will go further down the cave.

You will eventually reach the World Bulwark area, along with a door that leads to the bottom of the cliffs where the Transfer Sword is. The area can be very confusing to navigate through, but eventually, you should reach the Former End area, where Nyx will feel that there’s Mana nearby.

Going north in the Former End area will lead to some people from the Aurum Company who won’t be too happy that you saw them. Then the Magical Beast Phalmid will be summoned, and you will have to fight him again.

Aurum Company altercation, 1

Aurum Company altercation, 2

Phalmid is tough to defeat, but once you manage to do that, you will see that the people from the Aurum Company have fled. And Nyx will feel that the Mana response disappeared as well – it seems like the Aurum Company and the Sage Group have joined forces.

Aurum Company altercation, 3

Uula will be very mad because of this, and she will say that it’s time to go to the Aurum Base as soon as possible.

Aurum Company altercation, 4

The base is past the Caves of Thirst in the Windswpet Village, you will have to go through the Scorching Dunes to get to it. Tirma will send a report to the commander just in case.

Aurum Company altercation, 5

Visiting Aurum Company

When you’re in the Caves of Thirst, you will have to make your way to a certain switch that will enable a bridge between one part that leads down to the Scorching Dunes.

Going to Aurum, 1

The Aurum Base is located northwest, but more to the north than the west.

Going to Aurum, 2

Visiting Aurum Company, 1

When you enter the base, Tirma will notice some kind of commotion happening in a big room right before the entrance. Some Aurum Company members will be arguing with one another because of the assistance they gave to the Sage Group. Some members aren’t happy about that, saying: “I do not recall us becoming the lapdogs of the Sage Group!”

Visiting Aurum Company, 2

Visiting Aurum Company, 3

But this quarrel will be stopped by a blonde girl who appears to be of a way higher rank than all of them. She will tell them to calm down and that this discussion is over.

Visiting Aurum Company, 4

Tirma will recognize the girl as the Aurum Company president’s daughter, Pretty-shi. Rabi remarks that she speaks in a cool way.

Pretty will scold the certain members for cooperating with the Sage Group on their own, and she even heard that they sent a monster against a Miruess Army member. She knows this because Tirma informed Lione.

Pretty will say that they don’t want to antagonize the Sage Group, but that also they don’t want to antagonize the Miruess Army either. She scolds the members for acting too rashly.

Visiting Aurum Company, 5

All of a sudden, Lione will come from behind you all. She will greet you all and then proceed further to greet Pretty as well.

Visiting Aurum Company, 6

Visiting Aurum Company, 8

Lione says that she has some business and that she popped in for a visit.

Pretty will ask if it’s about the earlier matter, and she will sincerely apologize to Lione for that.

Visiting Aurum Company, 9

But it doesn’t seem like that was the reason why Lione came to visit her, and before Lione can finish her sentence, Gemina will appear all of a sudden as well.

And Gemina will just teleport, Pretty will tell her to refrain from appearing in such a manner, considering the base has an entrance for a reason.

Visiting Aurum Company, 10

Gemina will come up to the Aurum Company members that helped the Sage Group out and she will thank them, and Lione will stop her by asking what she’s planning to do with the Immortal Mana she found.

Gemina will remark that the Miruess Army’s “honored marshal” is as wise as ever, reading her movements. Lione asks Gemina to answer her question, but she does not do that and rather tells Lione that at around this time, she also appeared in the Miruess Army HQ.

Visiting Aurum Company, 11

Visiting Aurum Company, 12

Lione will ask if she’s an imposter then, and Gemina will say that one of them would be, asking her how she will deal with this now. Lione will order Tirma to hurry back to the Miruess Army HQ, but Gemina will say that she won’t make it in time and that she can’t capture her either.

Lione will remark that this is the first time the orders backfired, and Pretty will say that she doesn’t understand what’s being discussed, asking if this was instigated by “Durom-dono”.

And then Gemina will disappear again, ending Chapter 5.

Visiting Aurum Company, 13

Chapter 6

SEQUEL blight, Chapter 6

Chapter 6 begins in Rabi’s Office, just like most of the chapters. It begins with Rabi saying how it kinda feels like a whole lot of things happened. Nyx didn’t really understand anything, and she stopped listening midway through. Even the Miruess Army is in a great uproar, and in the end, the Immortal Mana got stolen.

Chapter 6, beginning, 1

Dire will ask how it got taken, even though Lione was absent, considering the marshal is supposed to be in the HQ. Tirma doesn’t know because only Lione can go and meet with the marshal. The marshal never makes an appearance – only gold-ranked members of the army can meet him.

Chapter 6, beginning, 2

Dire thinks the marshal is suspicious, and Tirma isn’t too happy with how things are going right now. Uula wonders if the marshal has ties with the Sage Group. Aurum Company’s part of the upper brass that’s for cooperating with the Sage Group has been detained. Uula says that if it weren’t for Pretty-sama, the situation would have been much worse.

Rabi thinks “Pretty-san” was quite cool. Tirma sorta agrees too, she’d like to ask her to join the army. Uula says that “Pretty-sama” leaving would kill the company.

Chapter 6, beginning, 3

Dire asks about the president of the Aurum Company, and Uula says that he’s quite old, so he has been absent lately – Uula says that even Pretty is quite old, at least older than she looks.

Nyx asks what to do about the Immortal Mana, and Uula draws attention to the fact that they now have three of them.

Dire thinks it would be best to ask Chemica about what the Sage Group is planning.

Visiting Chemica for Help

When you come to the Mana Laboratory and talk to Chemica, she will be happy that you’re relying on her, and she will listen to what you have to say.

Visiting Chemica for Help, 1

The scene will cut to Chemica saying how she just found something interesting about the Sage Group’s plans. Rabi wonders what that could be, and Chemica says that it’s the information analysis by Durom Mesa. Chemica says that that will blow the Sage Group wide open.

Nyx will ask who is Durom Mesa, and Chemica will say that that’s the Sage Group’s leader – they’re an important person, and only some people know about them. Tirma was surprised because she only thought Gemina was in command.

Visiting Chemica for Help, 2

Chemica then shows the contents of the important information.

Important Information

“Deep beneath the earth of Vaeltria, a great source of Mana has existed since the ancient times. Its power is infinite, and even the fragments of Mana that have come off it emit infinite power.”

“Approaching this source of Mana is difficult for a creature of flesh and blood. Its excessively strong life force will completely devour ours. Just like how we usually consume Mana.”

“Therefore, we shall gather the fragments of the source, the inexhaustible pieces Mana. By sacrificing them instead of our bodies, it should be possible to approach the source of Mana.”

“ーThe Ancient Mana the source produces may be magical power. It’s different from the Mana common to Vaeltria.”

“All people live relying on Mana. But Ancient Mana one cannot keep on living without.”

“Used multiple times, one will end up in a state of complete dependence on its power. Unable to do a single thing without it.”

“Wonderful, isn’t it?”

“In other words, were everyone to reach that state the world could be fully controlled. Everyone would move when Ancient Mana is emitted, and everyone would stop when it stops.”

“Wonderful.”

“It would end all conflict.”

“Everyone would lead righteous lives.”

“Perfect order, and peace.”

“And us as that world’s supervisors.”

[collapse]

Rabi’s reaction to all this information is quite simple, yet I agree with her and feel the same way.

Visiting Chemica for Help, 3

Chemica says that “it’s on a kind of an off-putting level of weird”.

Everyone shares their opinion on what has been said in the info dump.

Visiting Chemica for Help, 4

Visiting Chemica for Help, 5

Tirma says how she has to report all this to Lione, but Chemica objects, and Tirma asks why.

Chemica then says that the Miruess Army has marshal Zion, which means that it’s already in the Sage Group’s control. Everyone is shocked, and then Chemica asks Tirma if she has ever seen the marshal. Tirma says that she hasn’t, but she has heard the marshal’s voice.

Chemica says that the marshal of the Miruess Army is a machine.

Visiting Chemica for Help, 6

She says that machines mechanically output the correct orders, while adding that she has got something similar in her party. Dire is obviously the machine in the party, but Rabi is still shocked. Dire soothes her by saying that he’s normal while also telling her not to be stupid.

Visiting Chemica for Help, 7

Visiting Chemica for Help, 8

Chemica finds Nyx’s nickname for Gemina quite funny. Her laugh is cute.

Visiting Chemica for Help, 9

Visiting Chemica for Help, 10

Tirma wonders if Lione knows that the marshal is a machine. Dire says that if she met it, then she should, but whether it’s puppetered by the Sage Group or not is a different thing.

Tirma wants to inform Lione and says that she must return to the HQ for a moment.

Chemica tells you to visit her again.

Back at the Office

After Tirma goes to the HQ, you will be in Rabi’s Office at the living room table.

Nyx will ask what the Sage Group even wants in the end, and Dire says that it might be a good idea to go over it while waiting for Tirma to come back.

Rabi says that their goal is to manipulate everyone, but Dire mentions the Ancient Mana, saying how it seems that they’re collecting the Immortal Mana in order to get near it. Uula adds how they plan to spread it through Vaeltria to make all the people in the world depend on it.

Back at the Office, 1

Uula feels like Rabi’s explanation was enough, as the Sage Group is obviously quite bad and mischievous.

Rabi wonders what to do now and whether to go to the source before the Sage Group. Dire will ask her if she knows that you can’t get near the source without the Immortal Mana. But Nyx will ask whether you can go or not because you are a person that produces infinite Mana, kinda same as the Immortal Mana.

Dire doesn’t think your source is really infinite, but he agrees that you two might be close enough in nature.

Back at the Office, 2

And then Tirma will return.

Tirma says that it went terribly. After hearing that the marshal is being puppeteered, Lione had gone to destroy the marshal, but she failed to do so. She didn’t expect a counterattack, and while underestimating his strength, Lione got injured, so she needs some rest for now.

Back at the Office, 3

So now Tirma wants to destroy the marshal and kinda feels bad about asking for help, but Rabi nonetheless agrees and announces the operation “destroy the marshal”.

Back at the Office, 4

Operation Destroy the Marshal

The next thing you have to do is come go to the Miruess Army HQ.

When you come to the Miruess Army HQ’s Transfer Sword, Rabi will shout for the marshal to come out, but Tirma will suggest going to Lione first. Rabi is kinda let down by this rational decision, and she gets criticized.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 1

So, Rabi and everyone else decided to go visit the commander first.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 2

Lione is in the infirmary, and she doesn’t appear to be in a too bad state. Tirma asks if she shouldn’t lay more in the bed, but Lione says that she’s quite sturdy and that she’s fine.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 3

Nyx will ask Lione what she’s writing, and she will say that she’s writing a letter. She thinks the machines shouldn’t be relied on too much and especially not at this moment.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 4

Rabi announces to Lione that they’re going to go and break the marshal. Lione is a bit confused for a moment, but Tirma says that she requested it. Lione wonders if that’s alright to do so, though. Dire says that it would be best for them to do it because it would be risky to involve any outsiders in this matter, which makes Lione ask nicely if you all could quickly destroy the Machine Marshal, Zion.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 5

Lione then gives you the Gold Key. This key is something only the gold-ranked members are supposed to have, so this means that the commander’s trust in all of you is absolute.

Then you have to go into the command room and then go past the door in the back. This will lead you to the Top-Secret Facility, which Rabi finds rather cold. Uula says to this that she heard machines with great performance become incredibly hot, so it makes sense if this place is purposefully cooled down. Nyx will then ask if it would break down if the place wasn’t cold – Dire expects the marshal to be in control of that because it’s his weak point.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 6

When you reach the bottom of the area, you will see a giant robot machinery. Instead of the marshal being a robot, he’s actually a giant machine that looks quite well-designed. Rabi wonders if it’s okay to just hit it like normal – she’s confused about how to go about defeating that thing.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 7

Tirma is quite shocked that this was the marshal all along.

This will get you into a fight with the Machine Marshal, Zion.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 8

After the fight ends, the machine won’t be in the best state. Rabi will say that she has got a huge explosive hunch about it. Uula will suggest running, and Tirma will thank the marshal for everything he has done.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 9

But then, right before they leave, Zion will speak up.

He will say: “Tirma the silver. Heed my orders.”

Tirma will stop, and then he will continue on by saying how she must stop the Sage Group’s plans and that you are the key? But before he can say anything else, he starts exploding, and you all retreat, but Tirma says that she will definitely carry out his final order.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 10

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 11

You will then return to Lione, and she will tell her that she received a final order from him. Lione is confused, especially when Tirma tells her what he said. Lione says that “Zion-sama” always guided the army along a just path, but she’s sure that that was something that was to be proclaimed much earlier.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 12

Tirma will then address Lione as Lione the gold, telling her that from now on, she’s in the position to lead the army. Lione will be kinda shocked, wondering if she really can, as she’s only human after all (not a machine), so she might make some mistakes. Tirma says that she will support her and that she’s sure others will do the same. Lione thanks “Tirma-chan” and everyone else, she’s sorry for dragging you all into all this.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 13

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 14

Rabi is energetic as always and fine with it, but Lione notices that Uula is kinda silent, so she asks her if something is wrong. Uula will say that she thought it would be wrong to interrupt, and Lione will find it interesting that she made her worry about her.

Tirma will say that the marshal’s order weighs on her mind.

Then everyone will discuss the thing that the marshal said about you being the key.

Lione will have interesting things to say about you and the Immortal Mana.

Lione on You and the Immortal Mana

“Ah, because (your name)-kun is a boy. Indeed…Mana produced by males might be something that counteracts the Immortal Mana~”

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 17

“Look, boys have a poor affinity with Mana, right? It seems like there’s a connection there~ The Immortal Mana…in other words, the Mana from the ancient era is also strong in the same trait.”

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 18

“And so they shouldn’t interact withー shouldn’t have an effect on each other… At least that’s what our researchers said~”

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 19

[collapse]

But then the problem of others getting to the source of Mana will be brought up.

Nyx says that that isn’t a problem because everyone got Mana from you.

Rabi will be surprised that everyone did, and others will shyly confirm too. Lione will butt in and ask if you would mind giving some to this “big sister” as well.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 15

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 16

So the only thing left now is to find the location of the Mana source. But Uula has that covered, as one of the places the Aurum Company’s robot (you may remember the Aurum Company robot from the beginning of the game) was programmed to search was a place underground.

Uula says that it seems there’s a Mana signature coming from directly underneath Haven.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 20

It’s deep underneath Haven.

There is a deep hole in the Great Plains’ Hollow, in the southwest of Vaeltria Great Plains. The entrance was blocked because of the danger, but there’s still a way underground – and that’s where your next destination is.

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 21

Operation Destroy the Marshal, 22

The Depths of Haven

The next place you have to visit is the underground of the Central Haven, accessible through the Great Plains’ Hollow.

When you get there, somewhere near the beginning of the area, there will be a lid that leads to an opening of the underground part of the area – the Caved-in Tunnel.

Great Plains' Hollow, secret opening

This tunnel will lead to a Transfer Sword and an entrance to another area – Sunlamp.

Caved in Tunnel, Transfer Sword

As soon as you enter the Sunlamp area, Nyx will feel a strong Mana response – even Uula’s Mana sensor is reacting.

This area is confusing to navigate through, it’s ruins of some sort. But you should try to descend further underground

You should eventually find another Transfer Sword and an elevator to another part of the area.

You will then reach a maze, and you should head west as the slate that Tirma points out says. You can have fun with that maze if you want to because there’s a reward at the end of it.

The ladders will lead you to an abandoned town next, also known as the Ancient Era’s Town. It’s raining in it even though it’s underground, which is quite strange.

Getting to the Ancient Era's Town

And then going further up north in town will lead you to Gemina. She’s very irritated that you pursued her this far, especially now that you’re in a danger zone where even her allies fell – she mentions that even the Immortal Mana must not have been enough.

Gemina will be irritated that you pursued her so easily. She says that you’ve been a hindrance from the start and that now it’s time for you to meet your end – after that, she mentions that the ancestor will be saddened, but there’s no other way.

Fighting Gemina in the Ancient Era's Town, 1

You will get in a fight with the Old Witch Gemina.

Fighting Gemina in the Ancient Era's Town, 2

When you win, Tirma and Dire will ask Gemina if she approves of the leader’s plans because the regular members of the Sage Group aren’t aware that controlling Valetria is his ambition.

Gemina says that she approves of the leader’s plans. She says that she only lives to realize the ancestor’s dream and that it can’t be stopped even if she’s defeated.

Fighting Gemina in the Ancient Era's Town, 3

And then, Gemina will disappear again!

After that, everyone will agree to continue pursuing the witch and get closer to the source of Mana. Tirma says that as a member of the Miruess Army, she doesn’t want to cause the death of an inhabitant of Vaeltria, but that doesn’t mean she plans on forgiving Gemina either.

Fighting Gemina in the Ancient Era's Town, 4

The entrance in the northern part of the Ancient’s Era Town will lead to the Domain of Ancient Mana, which is a rather pretty area with a mystical feel to it.

The Mana response here is so strong that it even makes Nyx feel a little bit ill.

Getting out of the Domain of Ancient Mana, 1

You have to first weaken the cluster of Mana blocking the way before going further.

The area has a confusing layout, but you should explore it until you stumble upon a crystal (that you can see in the image below).

Getting out of the Domain of Ancient Mana, 3

Interacting with a crystal will get you in a fight with a Piniflian.

Getting out of the Domain of Ancient Mana, 4

Defeating him will allow you to destroy the crystal. Not all Mana clusters will fall though, Tirma says that there may be a second monster just similar to the one you killed a moment ago.

There are Mana clusters with two different colors.

And once you find the second crystal and defeat another Piniflian, you will be able to leave the area.

Getting out of the Domain of Ancient Mana, 5

Getting out of the Domain of Ancient Mana, 6

Once you reach the end of the area, you will be at another part of the Domain of Ancient Mana area.

The presence of Mana is so strong there that even Tirma can feel it, Uula’s Mana sensor broke, and Tirma feels a little hot (she’s extremely horny).

Getting out of the Domain of Ancient Mana, 7

Getting out of the Domain of Ancient Mana, 8

Exploring the area will lead you to the fight with the Chaotic Mana.

Getting out of the Domain of Ancient Mana, 9

After that fight, all of you will have a short conversation about what just happened, and then at one point, Rabi will mention that she’s nervous.

Nyx will be surprised that Rabi gets nervous, and Uula will ask what they should do once they finally arrive at the source, asking if they’ll have to stop the witch. Dire will confirm that but say that he doesn’t know what comes after that and that there’s no telling what the Sage Group is going to do.

Uula will then remark how all of their plans are kinda sloppy all the time. Tirma says that she always just ran on instinct with the marshal’s order as the basis. And Rabi says that that’s how it always felt like, so it’ll be fine.

Getting out of the Domain of Ancient Mana, 11

Getting out of the Domain of Ancient Mana, 12

Uula will worringly ask if they’ll be alright, Dire says that there’s no turning back now, and everyone else agrees that it’s time to go.

Getting out of the Domain of Ancient Mana, 13

Going further will lead to a purple area and a platform from which you have to jump off.

A cliff

Jumping Off

Nyx will tell Rabi to jump, but Rabi will object, saying that she’ll die.

Nyx tells Rabi to jump

Jumping off, 1

It seems that that’s where the source is located – Uula doesn’t even see the bottom. Rabi says that if anything goes wrong, then it’s best to use the Stone of Returning just before hitting the ground.

After a discussion on how to do this and all, Rabi will say that after coming this far, all of you will make it with the fighting spirit, no matter what happens.

Jumping off, 2

Rabi will tell you to hold onto her, Dire will ask what’s holding onto you going to do, and Rabi will say that it’s scary, so she just wants you to be close to her. Nyx will then also want that, Uula will want it too, and even Tirma will want that treatment.

Jumping off, 3

You can then jump, and you will all safely land in the Source of Mana area, and right in front of you will also be Gemina.

Fighting Gemina at the Source of Mana, 1

All of you will face her, but she will go on about how her duty is to link this source of Mana to the Sunlamp. She’s talking about the towerlike place you must’ve passed before arriving in the town. That facility can emanate Mana as light, and it can spread it far and wide.

Fighting Gemina at the Source of Mana, 4

It seems like that’s how she’s planning to bring all of Vaeltria under the influence of Ancient Mana.

Gemina doesn’t have anymore remaining strength, and most of her life force has been absorbed. The Immortal Mana was consumed long ago.

Gemina will then jump into the large pool of Mana, but she’s not dead – she combined the last of her strength with the Ancient Mana, all in hopes of defeating you all.

After the fight ends, it will seem like everything is over.

Fighting Gemina at the Source of Mana, 8

But all of a sudden, Nyx will disappear.

Fighting Gemina at the Source of Mana, 10

Tirma will be gone too, Dire and Uula too, until you and Rabi are left alone.

Fighting Gemina at the Source of Mana, 11

But then, both of you will disappear, and that’s where Chapter 6 ends.

Chapter 7

SEQUEL blight, Chapter 7

After everyone disappears, you will disappear too, and then you will wake up inside a mysterious area named the Fallen Moon. You will be in one of the cells, alone, without anyone by your side.

Chapter 7, The Fallen Moon, 1

You will have to explore the area for a bit before reaching a door that you can easily unlock.

If you don’t choose anyone and say no one’s on the other side of the door, you will continue going through the area alone until you reach the prison cells, where you can find everyone.

Chapter 7, The Fallen Moon, 2

Chapter 7, The Fallen Moon, 3

Luckily, the doors can be opened from the outside.

Rabi lost the Stone of Returning, so you’re kinda stuck there. Tirma isn’t really too happy with the situation, and the others are worried too, so you decide to continue exploring the area.

Exploring the area will lead you to something that looks like the robot marshal of the Miruess Army. Ultimately, it’s not Marshal Zion, but rather the machine being compared to Zion tells you not to compare him to “that thing”.

Chapter 7, The Fallen Moon, 4

The Sage Group Leader, 1

The Sage Group Leader

At the top of the machine, everyone will see a masked man, and he will introduce himself to all of you as Durom, the leader of the Sage Group, and “the one who will become the ancestor of the new world”. He says that he will control Vaeltria.

The Sage Group Leader, 2

Tirma will call his plan ridiculous, and Durom will say that there’s nothing ridiculous about it, telling her to try and imagine a world in total control. He describes it as a world with no war, where each and every person is just, and where all that is harmful will be immediately eliminated.

The Sage Group Leader, 3

Durom will call his idea wonderful, saying how the new world needs you all. He says that he saved you all because you have strength, intelligence, and courage. Rabi is confused about when all of you get saved by him, but he responds by saying that you were stuck in the source of Mana and that there were no means of returning from there.

Rabi will awkwardly thank him.

He will then say that he wanted to meet you all at least once, since you are the people who will become the “ancestor’s children”.

The Sage Group Leader, 4

Uula will object to this, and he will say that you will be his children and that everyone who lives in Vaeltria will be his children.

The Sage Group Leader, 5

Nyx will call all of this gross.

The Sage Group Leader, 6

Durom will say that he expects you not to fail him as Gemina did, and then he will proceed to call her foolish because he tried to murder you, his “precious children”. Rabi tells him not to say that because even though the “witch person” was their enemy, she worked hard for his sake. But he doesn’t really care about that, saying that he likes you all more than her.

The Sage Group Leader, 7

The Sage Group Leader, 8

Rabi will tell Durom that she hates him. Uula will also tell him that Nyx will tell him that he’s gross, Tirma tells him that she can’t accept him, and Dire calls him pitiful.

The Sage Group Leader, 9

The Sage Group Leader, 10

The Sage Group Leader, 11

The Sage Group Leader, 12

But Durom doesn’t care about that – he laughs at the fact that he has become quite disliked, but he tells them that they’re still necessary and that they will be his children no matter how they struggle.

Durom will then let you return, remarking that this place isn’t very comfortable to live in.

He says that he’s sending everyone back home, except you.

The Sage Group Leader, 13

He will say that he doesn’t need you as one of his children because you’re a creature that can’t accept Mana. Tirma will then ask if it’s about males having a poor affinity with Mana, so he will say: “Males may be so, but it’s not that they are completely unreceptive to effects of Mana. (your name) is special – he counteracts Mana, and isn’t affected by it. He is a being outside my control, a heretic.”

Durom will say that he always wanted you to die, but he could not predict how Rabi and the others would have acted if he had killed you. So he wants to kill you now, as the new world is near.

Rabi will then come to your defense, saying how she won’t let Durom lay a hand on you. Everyone will follow Rabi’s lead, and they will also agree that they really like you and that they won’t let Durom hurt you in any way possible.

Dire will ask Durom if he can attack Rabi and the rest, as they’re supposedly his “precious children”. Durom says that Dire hit him where it hurts because he doesn’t want to attack Rabi’s group.

Durom will say that he can warp you as he pleases, so it’s really not a problem to just isolate you from the rest. But then, Pretty will appear out of nowhere – she will teleport onto the robot.

The Sage Group Leader, 14

Pretty will come down from the robot toward you, and Uula will ask her why she came.

Pretty will say that “she” requested her to.

No one knows who that “she” is, but then Lione will teleport right next to you.

The Sage Group Leader, 15

Everyone is surprised.

Lione will say that she ended up making all of you go through something dangerous, but Tirma contacted her, so she started making her own moves. Tirma asks her if she’s referencing the time when she contacted her when they were about to descend into the source of Mana. Lione will say that she tried to call Tirma back afterward, but it didn’t go through, so she had a bad feeling about it, and requested help.

The Sage Group Leader, 16

Uula will ask why she asked “Pretty-sama”. Pretty says that Lione told her the whole story and that she shan’t ever abandon people like you. Lione butts in by saying that Pretty is quite strong, so there’s no better girl to ask than her. Tirma will call Pretty talented, but Pretty responds with how it’s not a big deal.

Rabi will ask Pretty how they even got there, and Lione says that they had help from Chemica. According to Lione, Chemica is analyzing and handling the warping of the Sage Group, so that’s how they were able to warp there.

The Sage Group Leader, 17

Pretty will then call out Durom, saying how he can’t control the warp process anymore.

But Durom doesn’t want to back down, he says that now that it’s come to this, he has no other choice but to erase you all. Pretty will call him out for showing his true colors, because in the end, he just wishes to eliminate those who don’t think like him, so that he can then declare a “transient peace no one wished for”.

Durom will say that there’s no need for Pretty to understand. Tirma asks Lione if they can really win against Durom, so she says: “You want to get ready a little or prepare some countermeasures, I see~ Which means, best regards~!”

The Sage Group Leader, 18

And then everyone gets teleported from the facility, and Durom declares that defeating him is impossible, and says that you may freely enjoy your orderless lives as much as you can until you witness the rebirth of the world.

Then the scene cuts to you in the Mana Laboratory, and Chemica, who is satisfied with her successful teleportations.

Successful Escape

Everyone is glad they made it out alive.

Chemica is glad that you’re all safe, she says that she was really worried.

Successful Escape, 1

If you thank her, she will say that she tried her best for you, all while laughing awkwardly. Lione will butt in, and say that now that you all escaped safely, it would be best to hold a strategy meeting to decide on what to do next.

Successful Escape, 2

All of you will discuss the matter of stopping Durom, and you will conclude that it would be best to cut him off the power of Mana. In short, you will have to separate Durom from that big machine that he was on top of. Since separating him isn’t the easiest thing out there, Chemica will examine Zion since he looks similar to Durom’s machine, and see if there’s a way for her to control him somehow.

Successful Escape, 3

Chemica wonders if both machines are relics of an ancient civilization.

Some time will pass, and Chemica will be done. She will say that it was surprisingly easy because she knew where the machine was. Everyone will still be in the laboratory – they killed time by teasing and playing with Pretty.

Successful Escape, 4

Chemica will say that she can turn off Durom’s machine just for a short while.

You will get back your Stone of Returning.

And the next time you talk to Chemica, you’ll be able to attempt to defeat Durom. When Chemica’s about to warp you all, she will tell you not to die, and quickly enough, you will be in the Fallen Moon area again.

Successful Escape, 5

Going to Durom, and the End

When you come to Durom again, he will ask if you’re prepared for death. Rabi will say that she is prepared, but for his death, and Durom will be quite satisfied with her response. Dire then tells him to act calmly while he still can, and then, all of a sudden, Durom’s equipment will stop.

Going to Durom, and the End, 1

But Durom will just laugh it off, asking them if they really thought they could defeat him by just stopping the machine.

Going to Durom, and the End, 2

And then all of a sudden, 6 Geminas will appear before you, which will remind Tirma of what Gemina said that one time about there being another copy of her. Durom will say that the original went and died, so according to him, “with the power of Mana, the likes of cloning living beings is no trouble at all.”

Going to Durom, and the End, 3

Going to Durom, and the End, 4

Pretty and Lione will decide to handle the Geminas, while you’ll be left facing Durom.

Going to Durom, and the End, 5

Then the fight with the Ancestor of the New World will start.

If you manage to take him out, he will reveal his second phase, where he appears as the Hollow Dream.

Going to Durom, and the End, 10

When you defeat him too, he will ask why you refuse, while also saying: “…Before long, the world…will blight again… Just like…it once…did…”.

Going to Durom, and the End, 11

Going to Durom, and the End, 12

So Rabi will respond with:

“Because after the blight-”

Going to Durom, and the End, 13

“-right now, we are alive.”

Going to Durom, and the End, 14

And that’s how things end.

After the fight is completely over, everyone will notice that Lione and Pretty are not there anymore, which means Chemica probably warped them back to the laboratory.

Tirma’s phone will then ring, and the ringtone will scare Rabi, who says that it’s bad for her heart.

Tirma will ask the person on the other side of the phone if it’s the commander, and then Chemica will say that it’s her, and that it’s too bad she’s not the commander. Rabi will tell Chemica that she seems incredibly cute when it’s just her voice, and Chemica will laugh cutely for a bit, before asking Rabi if she’s calling her ugly – she will hang up, saying how she’s not going to warp you back home anymore.

Going to Durom, and the End, 15

There’s nothing for you to do now, so Uula will ask what now, but Nyx will quickly remind her of the Stone of Returning. Dire will remark that she forgot it, even though it was hers in the first place, which will lead to Nyx calling Uula an underling. Uula will tell Nyx that she knows that a succubus’s weak point is their tail, so she will presumably grab her by it.

Going to Durom, and the End, 16

Nyx will have an odd reaction to having her tail handled, and there you will get the option to either go straight home with the Stone of Returning or participate in teasing Nyx and then go straight home with the Stone of Returning.

The scene will eventually cut back to Rabi’s Office, with Rabi being quite bored out of her mind.

You, Dire, Rabi, and Nyx will be in the living room.

Dire will propose searching for Mana because that was what they were doing in the first place, but Rabi says that she’s lacking motivation, and Nyx wants to do it together with everyone. But it’s different now because Uula and Tirma have their own matters to attend to.

Going to Durom, and the End, 17

But then, Tirma will show up with a request – recently, strong torrents of Mana have been sighted in many places, and their properties resemble the Ancient Mana. Their sources are lifeforms, i.e. living beings that emit the power of Immortal Mana, so they’ll cause trouble to regular people just by being nearby. You can approach them though, because of your “power”, so Tirma’s request is to vanquish these creatures. Everyone wants to participate, but then Uula will come and say that she was listening, and that she wants to come too, but she also has something she wants you to do for her in exchange.

Going to Durom, and the End, 18

Going to Durom, and the End, 19

Uula has a request from the Aurum Company, but she tells you to ask Pretty for details on the request. The Aurum Company took in the remnants of the Sage Group. But Uula’s request has something to do with the Ancient Mana – she says that she will help you with your task, so you help her with hers, and she will get angry if you don’t.

Going to Durom, and the End, 20

Rabi will say that she’ll do both of them, and everyone will be glad to be on an adventure together again.

Dire will then mention that there’s a harmless event being hosted in the Great Arena, a grand tournament unrelated to the Sage Group. So you can go and check that out too if you want to go on more adventures.
