The best way to celebrate the Christmas festive spirit and joy in Minecraft is through texture packs! There are so many beautiful Christmas texture packs you can even use when it’s not Christmas. I made sure to include a wide variety of Minecraft Christmas texture packs for all uses but I didn’t really want to include too many of them because I think this number is quite enough, honestly.
XmasBDcraft
BDcraft texture packs are always good. I covered one of their texture packs in my previous post so I naturally have to include this one just because of the amazing aesthetic it has. XmasBDcraft is basically PureBDCraft but with a Christmas flavor added to it, and those two aesthetics go well together pretty well. It’s pretty cute and full of Christmas spirit, the BDcraft comic-book aesthetic is always nice to see.
Nightmare Before Christmas
Do you like Nightmare Before Christmas? It’s one of my favorite movies and that’s why this next Minecraft Christmas texture pack got my attention. It was made a while ago so it has an older kind of feel to it, which is good imo. It’s centered around the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas and it makes Minecraft look creepy and mystical. You’ll like this texture pack if you’re more of a classy person.
New Default-Style Christmas Pack
Do you like the default Minecraft texture pack but still want to feel the Christmas joy without altering the game too much? If that’s the case then you should take a look at the New Default-Style Christmas Pack because while not changing the game too much, it makes it look so festive and fun while maintaining the vanilla Minecraft aesthetic. It’s really calming in comparison to the past two texture packs on this list.
Norway Spruce
If you’re not into Minecraft survival all that much and are focusing more on the PVP aspect of the game, then you’ll probably like this texture pack. It’s a PVP 16x texture pack with really cute Christmas changes to the GUI and important PVP textures such as swords and armor. The color green is dominating this texture pack so if you’re more into the red Christmas aesthetic, you will like the last one on the list.
Craftmas Remastered
Another great texture pack that stays true to the vanilla Minecraft aesthetic while adding a lot of festive joy to it is Craftmas Remastered. What I like about this texture pack the most are the literal candy trees and the texture pack’s color palette. It’s nothing too extreme but the changes are noticeable. It’s simple and that’s why it’s beautiful.
Kringle
The other PVP texture pack on this list was themed around the color green, but Kringle solely focuses on the aesthetic of red Christmas things. I like this PVP texture pack more than the other as it feels more aggressive and I can be a fighting Santa in Minecraft. The aesthetic is nice and it really feels like Christmas while playing with it. The textures are also quite smooth and it’s very pleasant to look at.
