Cottagecore is an aesthetic that goes all too well with Minecraft – especially with some of the amazing texture packs you can find online. I gathered some of the cottagecore houses that I think are so cute that it would be bad not to make an entire article dedicated to them.Â
I saw all of this from a YouTube channel named Croissant Cat, which is full of these kinds of relaxing videos where they make relaxing cottagecore build tutorials.
I noticed that they’re always using this one specific aesthetic texture pack called Mizuno’s 16 Craft, which is one of the prettiest texture packs I have seen in my life! There’s also a CIT version which they sometimes use.
I also wrote about the cutest cottagecore builds that would go well with all of the houses in this article – as all builds in both posts are made by Croissant Cat, in Mizuno’s texture pack.
Cute Light Blue Cottage

The first house on this list is a small and cute light blue cottagecore house that perfectly incorporates light blue and white colors in its design. It has a cute porch and a nifty roof with windows through which you can gaze at the sunset or look at the starry night. The interior is quite open but it feels so cozy at the same time. Having this near a small lake or a big pond would be such an aesthetic, and probably a place where I’d build this house so it matches the darker blue colored water.
Fancy Cottagecore House

This house is a little bit bigger than the last one and one of its features that stands out is the small balcony that’s attached right to this triangular roof which has a unique shape. The roof is definitely one of my favorite features of this house, and the small details such as the leaves and lanterns on top of it make it even better. The interior of this house is cozy and feels like a nice place where a small family can fit in.
Botanic Cottagecore House

I already covered this house in one of the articles where I listed some really cool houses, but I have to cover it again. Mainly because of the glass part of the house that’s like a little botanical space where you can keep your favorite plants, flowers, and leaf decorations. Or if you’re really hardcore you can make it a cigar lounge. The house itself is also really practical and has plenty of space for storage and other necessities.
Tall and Sweet Cottagecore House

But if you want something bigger in the cottagecore aesthetic I suggest you look at this house which is absolutely huge but still incredibly cute. It has a huge balcony space which you can use to gaze at the nightly sky or scout the area if any friendly visitors are coming for a meal in your very cute house. The interior is so beautiful and packed with details, not to mention it’s practical and you can actually live in the house.Â
Aesthetic Mountian House

Now if you want to be more creative or you want to feel like a hermit you can try out this house. I personally would build this on a really high place that’s far away from society for the best experience. It’s a cottagecore aesthetic house built in a mountain or any other type of hill you want to transform into a living space. I love how the living room has a huge glass wall that makes you able to see your porch and the house’s door – for some reason, everything about this house looks so relaxing.
Two-Story Aesthetic House

Here’s another one of the bigger cottagecore aesthetic house builds, and this one even has 2 floors. Yes, that’s how big it is! And that’s so amazing about it because besides being cute, it looks very powerful and it’s cool to see it from a distance. Not to mention how good it is to live in it with other people, it has so much space and I love that so much about it.
Dark Cottagecore House

Now this house perfectly incorporates the darker colors into the cottagecore aesthetic, and that’s probably why this might be my favorite one. From the cute porch that leads straight into the house to the more open second floor, this house has everything for a cute summer vacation home. Even though it’s not so secure because it’s always open – the summer vibes it gives off while being inherently dark are worth it.
Short-stack Cozy House

Most of the houses I showed on this list are quite tall and some even have more than one story. This one for a change is a little bit wider and shorter – which makes it a cozy short-stack aesthetic cottagecore house that’s really worth looking at. It’s not as open as some other houses and it feels safe to be inside it, not to mention the comfy interior that makes it feel so utterly comfy I’d never want to leave it.
Aesthetic Cozy House

This is one of the more unique cottagecore houses on this list and my second favorite. It doesn’t look like it has many rooms but I like its simple and compact shape that’s decorated with such a creative roof that’s not entirely closed down, but it has an opening right in your bedroom which is good if you’re not afraid of spiders or phantoms coming into your house. It’s a relaxed type of house that’s unique and full of cute decorations.
Cozy Cottagecore House

This next house design is quite spacious and it is full of interesting details inside the house. What separates it from most of the cottagecore houses on this list is the stairs that go up to the first floor which has a small porch and a door that leads straight into the house. I like that concept a lot and think it’s really creative, and I appreciate how the oak logs have been used in the house’s exterior.
Big Aesthetic Cozy House

If you’re looking for something more grandiose then you should focus on this cottagecore house design. It has a really beautiful first floor that stands out from the exterior – it looks like the house is separated into 3 parts because of that elevated middle part, which makes it look, in my opinion, much cooler. The porch is also nice and spacious – the interior of this house has to be the one I like the most on this list.
Cottagecore Cherry Blossom House

And now get ready for something ultra cute. This cottagecore house is done in a cherry blossom aesthetic which makes it look so kawaii – the striped cherry logs look so nice with the polished diorite blocks and white wool. I just love how this texture pack Croissant Cat always uses has the ability to make Minecraft look so pleasant and smooth. The interior of this house is as cute as the exterior and those scattered cherry tree leaves.
Cherry Blossom Starter House

Unlike the last cherry blossom cottagecore aesthetic house, this one is more for starting out your playthrough and for those who like small and compact spaces more. One of the things that really stands out is the uniquely shaped roof and how comfy it actually is when you come inside it. And the best part about it is that everyone can make it, it’s simple yet so cute and well done.
Aesthetic Cottagecore House

And now let’s get back to some of the cottagecore houses with a little bit darker aesthetic! This one in particular also has a roof with a very unique shape which looks so cool (and cute!). The darker tones of the wood combined with a little bit darker greenery and white shades of the walls and roof’s frame is what makes it so good. I love the little area for animals as much as the big window on the bedroom floor.
Darker Cottagecore Aesthetic House

Now this house is a beautiful example of how wooden planks can be used if you know how to combine them with the right blocks (and the right texture pack). The design is one of the more unique ones on this list and I admire how well the wooden planks are used in this build, and also that the dark roof is such a nice touch to the similar colors found on the planks. I love how the porch looks, it’s one of my favorites, and the interior looks as good as the exterior – so beautiful!
Cottagecore Tiny House

One of the blocks I can’t imagine ever using with the default texture pack on is granite, and I’d never thought I’d be searching for granite just so I could build this house but oh well. This cottagecore house idea is also pretty unique – everything about it is different from the others on this list and in a good way too! The granite blocks look so beautiful in this texture pack and go very well with the wooden planks and all other blocks used in this build.
Aesthetic Pink House

I’ve shown a few cherry blossom cottagecore houses here and there but this one isn’t cherry blossom, rather it’s completely pink! There’s nothing better than a pink house that’ll make you feel like a Barbie doll. The exterior is mostly built from birch and crimson wood – which goes so well in this texture pack and marks the house look like a strawberry shortcake. Too bad it’s not edible!
Rustic Aesthetic House

So let’s end this article with a rustic cottagecore aesthetic house. The main blocks it uses are white concrete, oak planks, and red nether bricks, which are quite different from regular bricks. It has a lot of space for all of the stuff you’d need in your Minecraft playthrough and it feels incredibly cozy. I like how the roof is shaped and kinda secluded into 2 parts if that’s the best way to explain it. It doesn’t have as many windows as other houses do and that’s what I like about it a lot because it makes me feel more secure.
