Dinah is Alice’s pet cat mentioned in Alice in Wonderland written by Lewis Carroll. Dina never makes an appearance in the books but Alice talks about her often and gives the readers and the inhabitants of the Wonderland some basic information about her.
For example, Alice talks about how Dinah’s hunting skills are pretty good, but the animals in Wonderland don’t like that obviously and they get scared.
She makes an appearance in Disney’s 1951 Alice in Wonderland movie and other popular media.
