Designing the interior in Minecraft is really fun. The game allows you to be creative as much as you want and you basically have endless possibilities in what and how you’ll be decorating your house, base, or any other living place. The amount of blocks the game gives you is endless and the interior decorations you can build out of the simplest blocks possible are so cool. So that’s why this post is solely focused on best room ideas in Minecraft.
You don’t have to completely replicate these – the rooms I’m about to show you can also serve as an inspiration for you to build something similar.

Love Room

If you want to go on a honeymoon with your significant other in Minecraft I think it would be the best to build this bedroom design idea. It’s basically a love room, the atmosphere is very romantic as the bright colors dominate the entire atmosphere. There are hearts next to the bed and candles to make the mood even more lively. There is only one bed though, but I don’t that’ll be a problem for anyone
Throne Room

If you have been going on a lot of adventures in your Minecraft world then there’s a high chance you’ve gotten a big amount of valuable loot. It’s best to keep it in a safe and secure space where you can also show off how rich you are – so the best possible thing is to build this throne room! Not only that it looks cool, but it’s very useful for important items, weapons, potions and etc.
Garden Room

Another great thing you can build in your Minecraft base is this garden room. This is especially nice to have if you’re far away from nature, for example, if you’re underground or underwater. It’s pretty cool to have a collection of all plants in the game like this. Not only that it’s useful but it also looks nice and relaxing. Why wouldn’t you want to have this in your home?
Fancy Bathroom

Adventuring, building, and mining in Minecraft can be very tiring. It’s best to relax with a long and hot bath to take a proper rest in your Minecraft world. It kinda looks like a sauna – next to the wooden bathtub you have towels with which you can wipe your body and there’s also plenty of barrels where you can put anything you want.
Brewing Room

Brewing potions in Minecraft is very useful. So why not have a dedicated room for it? Not only that it looks cool and like something a wizard would have in his tower, but it’s also a working station for brewing all kinds of potions you can imagine. It’s full of barrels for you to store your ingredients, and there’s even a second floor where you can put stuff such as nether wart and etc.
Relaxing Modern Bedroom

A lot of modern bedrooms in Minecraft can look too white and bright, which kinda makes it hard for it to have a relaxing ambient where you’d sleep comfortably. This room is modern enough but also full of different relaxing shades of colors that make you not want to leave it. It’s a nice design and this looks like a place where I’d like to live in real life.
Ocean Themed Livingroom

Do you just love the ocean so much you want to live in it? You can make your entire living room centered around it though. This room incorporates bright colors of light blue and orange to stimulate that oceanic feeling. It uses really pretty decorations such as red sand blocks and corals. The entire ambient it provides is chill and vibrant.
Classic Livingroom

This next Minecraft room is for those who prefer a little bit more laid-back style that resembles the classic Minecraft aesthetic. In this living room, you can find only casual blocks that aren’t hard to find – wood logs and planks pretty much dominate the entire atmosphere. It’s cozy and full of stuff and all sorts of decorations you can admire.
A Cozy Library

I just love literature and reading books, so I think this is one of my favorite room designs on this list. It’s a classic, very cozy, library design that’s full of all sorts of interesting books you can choose from, along with a second floor where there are even more books and stuff to read! It’s made out of easy-to-get simple blocks, yet the room looks so well done with the amount of details it has.
Modern Bathroom

I already put a bathroom on this list, but this one is for those who appreciate the modern style of building more! This is basically a completely accurate representation of how a modern bathroom looks in real life. It’s quite cool with the details such as the toilet, mirror, and turtle eggs. It feels fancy and like something you’d find in a rich person’s house. Pissing here must be really nice.
Classic Kitchen

Not all kitchens have to look modern. This one uses perfectly wooden logs and planks in order to create such a cozy kitchen that feels very comfortable to eat in. It’s useful if you want to store your stuff in it too because there are a lot of barrels. There’s also a table with two chairs where you can eat stuff, and overall it is just very pleasant to look at.
Rustic Kitchen

Rustic room ideas in Minecraft can look very beautiful (just like this one). This Minecraft kitchen is totally rustic with its use of bricks, dark spruce, and yellow concrete blocks that create a harmony of dark and bright colors. It’s a very beautiful place to have in your house that you can build presumably somewhere underground for a completely cozy basement-like feeling.
Underground Storage Room

Building a storage room is always a really fun thing to do in Minecraft. I prefer mostly underground storage rooms so that’s why I chose this design in particular. It looks cool and comfy and it’s not too hard to build – the perfect time to build this storage room is while you’re just beginning your playthrough. It’s compact and it can even fit plenty of furnaces and anvils.
2 Story Bedroom

Let’s end this post with a relaxing two-story bedroom that’s really cozy and kinda modern. The colors are really nice in this build, the cyan and white walls perfectly match with the spruce planks which are really dominant in this design. Upstairs you can basically put anything you want – in this case, there are armor stands up there. The plants are a cute detail to the room and make it seem less empty.
